Pizza in the park is always a good idea, especially when it's Ottelia pizza in the Coonawarra Memorial Park 🍕🌳
Order your pizza takeaway, grab a bottle of wine to go and park up in the picnic area next door to Ottelia and enjoy while the kids have plenty of space to run around and play. A great afternoon out for the whole family!
P.S. The gluten-free pizza bases get an 11/10 from us! 👌🏼

Take a walk down the iconic Petticoat Lane 👣
A hidden gem amongst the streets of Penola - view the historic timber and stone cottages that retain the charm and character of yesteryear. Petticoat Lane represents the oldest residential area of Penola.
The lane's character is enhanced by red gum kerbing, rose plantings and a lavender and herb farm featuring 60 varieties of lavender. Don't forget to also check out the Community Herb Garden amongst the Rose Garden too, which offers visitors a range of fresh produce and herbs for a gold coin donation!
Another spot to add to your Penola itinerary 🙌

The Festive Season and School Holidays are now well and truly upon us - which means this beautiful little region we live in will be busy with hustle and bustle!
Wineries, restaurants, cafes and specialty stores will now be in their Christmas Trading Period so it is encouraged to visit their page, website or call ahead to confirm their operating hours.
If you plan on going out for lunch, dinner or an event, it is highly recommended to book a table as restaurants and wineries will be extremely busy with expected visitors.
Remember to be safe during this crazy time, and Merry Christmas 🎅
