⏰ The countdown is on for the Rochester Christmas Tree display, opening this Friday 8 December, through to Saturday 23 December. Come and check out the dazzling trees decorated by local businesses, community groups, sporting groups, school, playgroup and individuals who want to get amongst it. We can’t wait to see the Chrissy Tree creations 🎄.Friday is also the Twilight Christmas Market from 5pm. If you’re visiting Rochy for the afternoon and evening, drive into town early and take part in the Christmas Scavenger Hunt, then stick around for a selfie at the light installation in Rotunda Park.Friday is going to be HUGE! We can’t wait 🧑🎄🤶🏻.
What a delightful bunch! U-choose Support Service took a group from Nanneella to Rochy recently.Here is their day in their words…Last Friday, we embarked on an exciting bus trip to Rochester that turned into a day filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments. 🥳 We strolled through the charming town, soaking in its beauty and history.☕ Our first stop was at The Cafe Rochester, where we cozied up, sipped on heartwarming coffees, and indulged in delicious milkshakes. The welcoming atmosphere of the cafe matched the warmth of our company, making the experience truly delightful.🍔 Then, our journey led us to The Criterion Hotel – a splendid place where we sat down for a scrumptious lunch, sharing stories and enjoying each other's company.🌆 The day was nothing short of spectacular, and we couldn't have asked for better weather or better company. It's these moments that make life truly extraordinary!Thank you to everyone who made today's journey special. Let's continue making memories and exploring together. Our town is already bright thanks to our beautiful art, but today Rochy got a big burst of red and purple thanks to the Red Hatters Australia ❤️.

Next time we’ll do our best to bring the degrees down 🥵😉, it was one of the hottest days this year when we chatted to them 🫠, a perfect day for doing nothing than kicking back and listening to the sounds of nature 🦜.
Little kids and big kids, have you checked out our skate park? You’ll find it on the corner of Gillies and Campaspe street. The day we were there we bumped into (not literally) @crozzyyy rolling and jumping around on his rollerblades. @crozzyyy grew up in Rochy, and when he comes back to visit family he always drops in (literally) to the skate park. We could he watched him for hours!!

Take a wander through Rotary’s community garden. You’ll find strawberries, tomatoes, capsicum, beans and plenty more ripe goodies!
Our community garden is situated at the old Rochester Court House, it not only provides a party for your taste buds, but also a place to sit and be still in nature, along with a community library.
Get into Rochy!! Come and shop, and support local businesses post flood. Thanks to Luke and Lou from Luke Ryan Real Estate for always being big advocates of Rochy!
We love seeing visitors in town who are from surrounding regions! Craig from Tongala and his mate from Echuca often visit Rochy to catch up, enjoy a coffee together and admire the silos.
