Full moon kayaking with
Southern Cross Kayaking last night! What a treat! I don’t have words to describe the peace and tranquility of gliding across Ganguddy, listening to the bird life, watching that magnificent moonrise and still seeing plenty of stars. (Some satellites as well)
What a brilliant (pun intended) evening.

A tiny sprinkle of snow overnight and a hint of spring today.
The road is still in a bad way but if you have good clearance and are not overloaded it is ok for 2WD.

May is Fungi Month and the fungi are definitely popping up, giving us some amazing splashes of colour.
Update on the road:
The road has been graded as far as Dunn’s Swamp.
From Dunn’s Swamp to the Bunkhouse there are some confronting conditions, but it is drivable in a 2WD vehicle.

These smooth fence posts are a bit harder to climb than a tree 🥵
