We’re thrilled to introduce Tonka, the newest member of our Sydney fleet! After a decade of service and a massive 480,000km on the odometer, our trusty 2010 79 Series Landcruiser Ute is retiring from daily deliveries.

Tonka, a compact yet capable Hino 300 Series 616, is here to fill the gap. 💪 Its size and agility makes it perfect for accessing smaller spaces that our larger trucks just can’t reach, ensuring even more efficient deliveries. 🚗🔧 How to Check Your Engine Oil in 3 Simple Steps! 🔍✨

Regularly checking your engine oil is a quick and easy way to keep your car running smoothly. Follow these steps:

1 - Park & Cool Down: Make sure your vehicle is parked on a level surface (and in a safe spot) and the engine has been switched off for at least 5 minutes.

2 - Locate the Dipstick: Open the bonnet and find the oil dipstick (usually marked with a bright coloured handle).

3 - Check the Oil: Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean with a cloth, reinsert it fully, then pull it out again. Check the oil level between the "min" and "max" marks. If it’s low, it’s time to top up!

🌟 Meet the Team: Geoff, Our B-Double Tanker Driver! 🚛

Geoff has been a valued part of the Gulf Western Oil team for the past 18 months, but he’s no stranger to the open road—he’s been driving trucks for over 40 years! 👏

On a typical day, Geoff is behind the wheel of our Gulf Western B-double tanker, heading to terminals in Botany, Port Kembla, and Newcastle ports to pick up base oil. Once back at our yard, he unloads the oil into tanks, ready for production.🛢️

What does Geoff love most about his job? Being out on the road and taking in the sights of new places.🚦🏞️

When he’s not on the road, you’ll find him passionately supporting his favourite rugby league team, hitting the greens for a round of golf, or cruising on his motorbike. 🏉⛳🏍️

Geoff’s dedication and passion are an inspiration to us all. Make sure you give him a wave if you see him on the road – you cannot miss our branded tanker! 👋

🚗 Austin A40 Car Club Tours Gulf Western Oil! 🏭

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Austin A40 Car Club of Australia (NSW) to our factory for a tour! Despite the incredibly hot weather, everyone had a fantastic time exploring our blending facility and learning how our products are proudly made right here in Western Sydney. 👨‍🔬🇦🇺

It was amazing to share our production process with such an enthusiastic group of classic car lovers.
