What you MUST know if you travelling to Italy 🇮🇹 or Europe in 2025 re changes for Australian travellers

ETIAS is coming but not quite sure when other than it will be in 2025

No need to panic but you do need to be prepared - therefore I suggest you sign up and get up dates if you are travelling this year

How safe is it to travel 🧳 in Italy 🇮🇹?

Maybe a better question is what precautions do you take when travelling ? Travel is exciting an is on most peoples

Staying safe is very important when travelling and an is no exception- so here are a few tips on what to look out for and avoid travellers when to Italy 🇮🇹 so

1. Where a money belt and keep only a small amount of cash on you in your pocket

2. Take a travel safe bag and keep it close (like me here walking in Rome)

3. Avoid looking too touristy and don’t wear unnecessary jewellery

4. Be alert, be aware and more so in very touristy areas that are crowded

5. Never flash cash around and ensure you have small notes with you for purchases

6. Keep valuables close to you and if using a backpack do not put anything of value in it

7. Remember while your on holiday’s the pickpockets are not

8. If you see distraction of some type in the street watch out as often this is used to catch your attention while the pickpockets do their thing

Meeting expectations is a little bit like dieting….to get results you need to be able to say NO !

While I love ❤️ working with my clients planning their trip to Italy 🇮🇹 sometimes I need to say NO (kindly and with an explanation)

I want to meet my clients expectations and I want happy clients but sometimes that means saying something that clients don’t always want to hear

Here are a few of my big NO’s for Italy 🇮🇹 travellers

No what you pay here in Australia for a hotel room is not the same thing as what you pay for in Italy - you can not compare the two ….as it’s so very different

No avoid hiring a car as trains in Italy 🇮🇹 are amazing and totally different to Australia - stress free easy and get you from city centre to centre at a reasonable cost AND faster than a car 🚗

No hotels are often not purpose built in Italy 🇮🇹 like they are in Australia 🇦🇺 so every room can be quite different in size and configuration - a single room can mean a small room for one person with a single bed

No the exchange rate makes a huge different - if our Australian dollar is low tAussie2Italiaaly is higher this has nothing to do with the service, quality or what room type or what accommodation you purchase

No Aussie2Italia will not be the cheapest as we are all about service - we will explain plan and help you meet your expectations and we offer service while your on the ground in Italy 🇮🇹 with our Rome Operator - We will actually talk to you ! This week I am working from the country….like many Australians working remotely has become a popular way of extending your holiday - but it’s all so tempting to sit in the sun 🌞 haha 😜 lucky for me I am talking about one of my favourite subjects Italy 🇮🇹 so working it’s always very exciting!
