Throughout our journeys, we guide small groups through the magnificent pyramids and temples of the Mayans, Aztecs and Toltecs and seek not only to visit them, but to resonate with the intentions for which they were created. Within the magic of Mexico, we are so often surrounded by color and beauty, be it in the heartfelt handcrafts of the artisan markets or the stunning beaches, jungle waterfalls and cenotes, and it is our passion to lead you through it. Part of the beauty of being in these sacred places is to allow time to really take in your surroundings, to be spontaneous, and explore things in your own way. Our trips allow for this whilst providing the focused integration into the mystery of these places of power, along with friendly and comfortable passage with like-minded people and the entry into a transformational journey to travel deeper and rejuvenate the body and spirit. We are very excited to present our new journey for 2014, Fire of the New Sun, Water of the New Earth. Is a very special journey created around new energies that are coming to the Earth, with the grand cycle the Mayan Calendar that we have just entered into, as is told in the legend of the Fifth Sun. We will be sitting with sacred fires in our trail of ceremonies throughout the journey that will channel the energy of the new Sun, and as we travel through the Mayan lands we will be renewing ourselves in the pure waters some of the most exquisite natural environments imaginable, the waterfalls, cenotes unique to the Yucatan peninsular, and the stunning turquoise Caribbean ocean. With these two elements as a focus we will seek to balance and harmonize the energies of the sacred masculine and sacred feminine. What makes this journey unforgettable is experiencing the pyramids and ancient temples of the Mayans, and we will be visiting the most magnificent of these sites, which have been built by these incredible ancient civilizations on power places on the Earth, using sacred geometry and precise alignment with the cosmos. Each site resonates on a different vibration, which we will be connecting with as we visit them. The highlight will be witnessing the sunlight of the spring equinox illuminating the feathered serpent descending to Earth on the stone steps of the Quetzalcoatl temple of Chichen Itza. We journey from Mexico City to the Caribbean ocean, and we will have the chance to really dive in and partake in an Aztec dance class, learning traditional ceremonial songs, making our own sacred instrument, plant medicine ceremonies, traditional medicine , cleansing ceremonies and offering our prayers in the Temazcal traditional sweat lodge, a sacred cacao ceremony, site specific meditations at the Mayan temples, and working daily with the Mayan Calendar. There is also plenty of time for relaxing in the beautiful accommodation, we will be staying in a selection of eco retreats, and traditional dwellings, with time to walk in nature or a little luxury with a healing massage.
