Just spent a couple of days in the lovely city of York with my mum and sister. Had a lovely time catching up and exploring the city.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment within 10 minutes walk of the city. It was great to have the space of the apartment rather than a hotel room.

Next stop Warrington and Liverpool!!!

After leaving Santorini, we arrived into Amsterdam for 2 days. We stayed at the Royal Amsterdam at Rembrandtplein. It was in a great location, easy to get around the city and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The tram stop was across the square from the hotel. The rooms were small, and we had a small balcony overlooking the square.

Amsterdam was very busy and very smoky lol.

We only had 2 days there so not alot of time to do much exploring, but we had a good walk around and did the Canal Cruise which was great.

A few photos from Santorini 😍

Santorini has been on my bucket list for a while now and it did not disappoint, it was beautiful, a destination I would definitely go back to. It is so picturesque.

We stayed in Imerovigli which was lovely, but it was quiet as they close down from 31st October. It was only a 10 minute bus drive into Fira, which was still busy. I wanted to do the cable car down to the old town, but it was constantly busy with cruise passengers coming up and down from the ships.

The people were friendly, food was great and the accommodation was amazing. We jumped on the bus to Oia to see the famous blue domes which only took 20 minutes and so cheap at 2 euros each way.

Lots of accommodation to choose from whether you want to be in the bustling parts, the quiet parts or be closer to the beaches.

Sorry haven't been on social media for a few days, had a few days travelling from Santorini back to Athens and onto Amsterdam before arriving into the UK yesterday & catching up with family after 6 years!!

Athens was a full couple of days exploring the city. We saved some time by jumping on the hop on hop off bus (but didn't hop off) and saw many of the sights, this is definitely worth doing. We then did the tour of the Acropolis which was great, it was very busy.

Anyone visiting Athens and wanting to do this tour, it is advisable to pre book your tickets. They are sold in time slots and if you have not got tickets you need to face the long queues to purchase them.

I will do some full blogs when I get to the UK but arrived into Santorini yesterday. We are staying at Kasimatis by La Perla in Imerovigli & I have to say so far I am very impressed. Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Our room is lovely & I am hoping to have a look at one of the suites later in the week.

Walked into Fira yesterday which took about 30 minutes but is a gorgeous picturesque walk. We had to go there as the hubby wanted to watch Liverpool lol.

We had breakfast served in our room this morning, we also have a balcony above us but the wind was a bit fresh to sit there.

Relaxing day today, jet lag is setting in

Arrived in Athens yesterday & checked into the hotel Plaka. Lovely room & great location. Has a lovely roof top restaurant with amazing views.

We flew from Singapore to Athens with Scoot Airlines & I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I did upgrade to extra leg room seats in the quiet zone which I would highly recommend to do. We were provided with a snack but had to pay for anything else. Also no TV but we were on a night flight so didn’t bother us too much, a day flight would probably be a different story.

Had a walk around & looks lovely, very busy. Early night last night ready to go exploring today.
