The Nuremberg Christmas Markets are nestled in the heart of the Old Town and truly lives up to its reputation as one of Germany’s most beautiful holiday markets. 🇩🇪
With over 400 years of tradition, this medieval Bavarian city shines with charm, especially through the market’s unique regional offerings. We felt incredibly lucky to have arrived just in time for the opening ceremony, where the church choir sang beautifully, and the official lighting of the church made the moment feel absolutely magical.🎄👌🌟
Our final stop on our #Travelmarvel river cruise was the picturesque city of #Regensburg, #Germany. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s renowned for its medieval charm, including the iconic Stone Bridge and St. Peter’s Cathedral. We loved exploring the cobblestone streets, lively cafes, and traditional Bavarian beer gardens. The highlight was the magical Christmas markets, where we browsed festive stalls, sipped mulled wine, and soaked in the holiday spirit—a perfect way to end our adventure!🇩🇪🎄🎅

Today, we disembarked in #Aschach and opted for the Enhance Your Journey experience, spending the day exploring the enchanting town of #CeskyKrumlov. Nestled in the South Bohemia region of the Czech Republic, this #UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its fairy-tale ambience, historic charm, and stunning architecture.
Highlights include the iconic Cesky Krumlov Castle, perched above the Vltava River, which boasts elegant gardens, a unique Baroque theatre, and panoramic views of the old town. The town’s labyrinth of cobblestone streets is lined with vibrant Renaissance and Baroque buildings, inviting visitors to uncover its rich history at every turn. From quaint cafes and artisan shops to the tranquil riverbanks, Cesky Krumlov offers a magical experience that feels like stepping back in time.🏰.
