Arizona Memorial- Pearl Harbour
A visit to the Arizona memorial is highly recommended for anyone interested in history. My family loved it. The horror of war was definitely on display, and stepping onto the actual memorial was a very emotional experience (or I'm too big a softy). The videos from veterans from the day are excellent and really bring everything to life. My children loved their visit.

Aston Waikiki Beach Tower was our home for two extra special nights back in Honolulu. This two bedroom apartment had everything you could think of! A lovely welcome drink and wet towels on arrival to freshen up, complimentary valet parking (1 vehicle) for the duration of your stay, a welcome pack containing 4 water bottles, beach bag, sunscreen, lotion, lip balm and moisturiser. The apartment had two bathrooms bidet toilets, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with grocery delivery available, Our room had sunset views which we enjoyed from the balcony but you can also have Diamond head views. All rooms face the ocean and categories depend on floor height.
We would love to stay here again!!

Kualoa Ranch offers something for everyone. From horse riding, ATV tours, ebikes, hiking, jungle tours, movie sites tours and so much more. We chose the 90-minute movie sites tour which we loved. It was great to find out how many shows/movies were filmed here but also about the history of the ranch and the importance of the part it played in the military history of the island. We visited the WWII bunker Battery Cooper which was fascinating.

Our first stop is the North Shore of Oahu, staying at Courtyard by Marriott North Shore, Laie. The hotel is very family friendly with microwaves in each room, good size rooms, activity centre offering everything from volleyballs, corn hole games, beach chair hire, kayaks, stand up paddle boards etc.
Car hire is a must and we have a Dodge Durango 5.7l hemi - very nice! - to drive.
The coast line is spectacular, and being out of the hustle bustle of Waikiki is wonderful. White sand, great people, food truck culture.

My family and I are off to Hawaii flying with Hawaiian Airlines. We took the option of extra comfort seats which give you an additional 5inches of leg room. Excellent value.
