We’re seeing a batch release of Classic Reward seats on the Sydney - London and Perth - London routes towards the end of the year!

Up to 2 Business Class and 6 Premium Economy seats are available across October, November and December 2024!

These seats are usually the first to go, so be sure to book them in now, and then start looking for your return flights ✈️

Qantas have released a Classic Plus fact sheet. Remember, Classic Rewards are the best value way to use points, not Classic Plus.

We help build itineraries with both Classic Rewards and a Classic Plus, but will always encourage you to be flexible and use Classic Rewards to get the best value for your points.

Exciting news for Qantas travelers! Classic Plus reward seats are now available for booking on the Qantas site for bookings starting July 2024. While they offer more availability for point redemption, they might not be the best value for your points.

Have a look at the example above for a direct Sydney - Los Angeles flight: a Classic Plus Premium Economy seat will cost more than a Classic Rewards First Class redemption!

Here’s what you need to know:
👉🏼 the pricing sits between Classic Rewards and Points Plus Pay
👉🏼 pricing is based on the cash fare equivalent on the day
👉🏼Classic Plus will offer much more availability than Classic Rewards do, but at a lower value per point ratio
👉🏼 they are often cheaper when booking return tickets, as cash fares are
👉🏼 they won’t earn SC or points (unless you’re a Points Club member) and the change and cancellation fees are the same as Classic Rewards
👉🏼 available for QF operated flights departing Australia (domestic and international flights to become available throughout 2024)

An interesting way to get to Paris on June 11th. Business class is available for 238,400 Qantas points + $387 taxes. Personally we wouldn’t spend this many points to get to Europe (one-way) but it could be a good option for last minute travellers during peak season. Would you fly this route?

Remember to use your points for the best value reward seats you can find! This flight on April 2nd is in Business class from Melbourne to London, via Hong Kong, with Qantas and Cathay Pacific and sells for around $10K on Google Flights!
