Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel on Lago di Como and am in love with designs.
Yes, I'm wearing the same clothes and no I wasn't expecting it to be cold and rainy, I only packed one jumper! However, it really didn't spoil the incredible views from every room in this stunning hotel.

I'm back in Italy and working from Lake Como this week.
I'm checking out a few new hotels as well as some that I visited when last here in 2018.
The first stop is the beautiful Mandarin Oriental, which has a prime position on Lake Como, with sun all day....though this week has been unseasonably cold, but it is still such a special place no matter what the weather is like!
As part of Mandarin Oriental Hotels Fan Club, I'm able to enhance my clients' stay by offering add ons such as hotel credit, upgrades, and VIP treatment.
I am happy to share more about this with you, so feel free to contact me if you're planning a trip to Lake Como or elsewhere.
High season here is now May to September, so if planning a trip it is worth looking at March, April and October to avoid the crowds and high prices.

Spent a fabulous long weekend in Hong Kong at with wonderful colleagues.
Checked out some old favourite hotels as well as new. There is so much going on in this vibrant city, I'm definitely going back for longer next time!

Another lovely London hotel where we were fortunate enough to spend a few nights. Formerly the Bow Street Magistrates court. Perfectly located opposite the Royal Opera House I'm Covent Garden.
Beautiful high ceilings and historic features in all the rooms and suites.
Lovely restaurant becoming famous for a Sunday roast, 2 cool bars, Side Hustle and Common Decency and a library which is open to the public and I found myself working here during the day, but slightly distracted people watching!
They have even kept the original Jail in the basement as a museum!

I absolutely loved my stay at London's newest boutique hotel. The Broadwick Soho opened its doors 3 weeks ago. From the minute you approach the hotel and see the huge elephants decorating the outside (a Xmas feature only), you know you're going to be in for some surprises. The staff in their leopard print suits and polka dot overalls greet you with big smiles and welcome you home. Only 57 rooms and suites, all uniquely decorated with an explosion of colour and quirky features. Loved the Nook, a guest only living area, which became my office for a few days with working record player and fireplace. Flute the rooftop bar is the perfect spot for a cocktail and is very popular with outsiders also. Dear Jacky, their restaurant serves delicious food in a lovely ambience and bar Jacky on street level is also pretty special. This is a very cool hotel!

What an epic week it has been here in Cannes!
It seems crazy that I am back here so soon, but for a very good reason. ILTM travel trade show is the perfect place to connect or reconnect with partners in the industry. It is these wonderful people who enhance your stays at their hotels or assist us with planning your on the ground arrangements. I have been inspired by many new connections I have made during the 50 or more appointments I have had this week. I'm excited to share this information with my you. Apart from the meetings, there have been endless lunches, cocktail parties, and dinners. It has been a lot of fun and extremely productive.

We decided to take an alternate route back to Sydney and who doesn't love a few nights in NYC!
Of course, I used my time to check out many hotels!
Also found some time to walk the Highline and take a walk through Central Park. It's a beautiful time of year to visit this amazing city. We averaged 17kms per day on foot, but there is so much to see, and I always leave wishing I'd had a few more days!
Next stop LA...then home!! ❤️

Bonjour! Yes, I am still away! I apologise for not posting for so long.

One question I always get asked, is “how do you manage to fit in both travel and work”! Well, It can be challenging, and when you throw social media into the equation, it makes it even more challenging. So, if something must go, unfortunately, it is social media. My friends and clients know how to find me no matter where I am! In fact, many of them are here in Europe with me, and we chat on a daily basis via What’s App. I love hearing from them, whether it's to ask a quick question, share a photo or tell me about a great restaurant.
I have discovered so many beautiful places in France in the last month, some I've never heard of before. I've found some incredible places to stay, whether it's a 5 star hotel or an amazing air bnb, I'm excited to share my finds with you and will keep posting when ever I can. This week we had the most amazing degustation meal at the newly opened Botrini's restaurant , located at Katikies Hotel.
Loved the hotel itself, but even if you're staying elsewhere in Mykonos, this restaurant is worth booking.
I don't normally take photos of food, but these were just too good not to capture!

My first stop in Greece was Santorini. One of the most requested destinations in Greece.
It was a very busy 2 days with 10 hotel visits. It is so important to match the right property with the right clients and seeing them first hand is the best way to do this.
I caught up with the lovely Melanie and her husband Markos the owner of the Canaves properties. I'm used to seeing Markos at trade shows or when he visits us in Sydney , so it was lovely to see him on his own turf! I visited all 4 Canaves properties ranging from 8 rooms to 53, with a 5 bedroom Villa opening at their newest property Epitome very soon! Each property so different and suited to different clientele.
Santorini is beautiful but this means it attracts a lot of tourists, so finding a special place with amazing views is important so you can enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.

Such a cool boutique hotel.
Adjacent to Spice Alley, and Kensington St with many cafes and boutique shops.
Great rooftop bar overlooking Central Park and the city.
They have done a great job of refurbishing this hotel and blending the old with the new.

It's hard to believe that it has been 12 months since I've left NSW!
But really, with this beauty surrounding us on our doorstep, it isn't exactly a problem!
My first trip to Yamba and it won't be my last.
Great restaurants, beautiful beaches, good surf, no crowds, say no more!
