I have been booking travel since I was born..... jokes.... it's actually 8 years so I'd like to think I know what I'm doing, fortunately my customers agree.

Here's a little about my life in the travel industry:
Starting in 2008 I was a Consultant at STA Travel, kicking off my career in travel. From there, I was promoted to Assistant Manager and then Branch Manager, building up my experience in

Australia. In 2014, I was offered the opportunity to develop and train my own team in Bangkok, Thailand. For 14 months I reported directly to the MD, hired a team of 10+ travel consultants, acquired two Corporate Accounts (British Council & TTI Global) and learned the difference between Thai & Australian business cultures. Fun fact: after working my way up, I demoted myself because I'd rather help clients than manage staff. Discovered my true calling early!

Why am I working for myself now? Through the experience, I realised what I love and quite simply - I love helping people organise their travel. Whether it's a holiday, a business trip, conferences, events or group bookings.

I think that when you are helping someone organising their holiday, it should be done with love and care. Sounds corny but treat people like how you want to be treated and everything will fall into place.

I have helped all types of clients with their travel from students to couples to groups of besties, through to luxe, business travel and corporate trips so I understand everyone has different needs. Travel industry is all about knowledge, fast & reliable customer services and honesty which is how I operate my business. My turnaround time is normally within 2 hours and I'm available most time if I'm not sleeping.

Being a Personal Travel Manager gives me the time to spend with each client to make sure I explore the best solution to your holiday including flights, accommodation, transfers, travel insurance, tours, shop, food, drinks and much more. Fab Fare Alert ⚠️💥👀✈️🌍

We have a family of 6 travelling to Europe for winter as they want to check out Iceland, see the northern light and some serious snow boarding.

The cheapest just to London return was $2500 with Qantas in economy and $10,000 in business class.

When I told them that I can get this itinerary for $2878 in economy and $6488 in fancy their jaw dropped cus they thought I was lying but when I said it's legit they booked the tickets straight away.

Since they were travelling with kids and elderly, I suggested them to break up the flights a little bit so they can check out different cities since they are passing through.

A few months back I got a chance to inspect United airlines' aircraft ( Cool things about what I do for work😁)

Flying on a long haul flight of 10+ hr, you really need something comfy so I'd highly recommend to fork out a little bit more so your holiday journey can be nice and memorable.

Do you have a favorite human that you travel well with?

I have travelled with different people and learnt that everyone travels differently which is all good but the older I get, I'd prefer to jet away with people who I can be comfortable with and that we understand each other like what we like to see, eat, do and know they are hangry (hungry + angry 😅)

I 😍 doing food tours whenever we travel. Why ❓

When you visit a place, there are so many local cuisines that you may not have heard of or even think to try.

So when you do food tours, you will get to try different food with a local guide, explore the town by food or local transportations and meet new people 🍛🍜🍝🍰🍻🍷🍲

My fav food tour was in NYC cus we got to walk around the city and try different local street food. The best dish was the jerk chicken 🍗

TGIF 🥳

When I started my travel agent career 17 years ago with STA Travel, back then we never ever sold cruises as our target market were students and backpackers so I never got a chance to experience it.

Since I have started my own travel business, so many people told me that I need to get in to cruising but it was so hard as my passion was more for flights and land holidays.

I was fortunate enough to be given a chance to experience my very 1st cruise with Carnival and I didn't expect much but I had such an amazing time 🙃

I wanted to take my partner Scott but he was busy with his day job so I took my friend Nick instead and we had a blast. We ate, drank, partied and it was my birthday so Nick got us a week spa pass where we could use the spa facilities anytime we wanted which was super relaxing. We spent 1-2 hr there everyday.

From this experience it sparked my interest in cruising even more that next year I have already booked a Silversea cruise 7 days in Alaska ($7000/person) so I'm super excited to try that out cus every cabin comes with a butler baby!

This pic was from our last Japan and Vietnam holiday where we flew premium economy there and FANCY aka business class back with Vietnam airlines.

Scott and I have been fortunate enough to fly different business/first class with different airlines in the past 8 years so we got to experience various products e.g. seats, services, lounge and so on.

Yesterday I caught up with a long time client who became my good friend 😁

Vanessa had booked her first trip back when I first started in travel 17 years ago!!!!

This time she wanted to take her family away somewhere since they haven't been overseas since COVID so we had a chat about a few options, what they wanted to do and so on.

It's been a long long week as we have been helping out so many clients from:

✅ Putting their trip togethers. We currently have 7 trips that we are working on.
✅ After hours drama where airlines either changed our clients' flight or cancelled them so we had to find solutions.

Last week I found an amazing $2288 going to the US and Europe and today I found another one that made me go "ohhhhhhhhh", especially going during peak season in Europe.

For a 1 stop to Europe with major airlines you are not looking around $3000 - $4000+ so when you compare with what I have found, mine is not too shabby huh 😏🙃

When you compare the prices, the economy there premium back is the best value and travelling from Europe back home is more than 24 hr so you will be super comfortable.

From the US - Amsterdam you can fly from LA/Seattle/LAs Vegas/Dallas/Boston/Chicago/Detroit/Atlanta/San Fran/Houston/Miami/NYC/Washington/Minneapolis to Amsterdam.

From Paris to Australia you can pretty much fly via any ASIA cities e.g. Tokyo/Bali/Singapore/Shanghai/Hong Kong/Taipei/Saigon and so on. Depending on the route, aircraft may have no premium economy seats so if you want to know which cities you can fly fancy then I can let you know😇

I had a client meeting today with a group of 4 friends who want to get to Europe for this summer. In my head I was like you are booking wayyyy to close and the price would probably be more than $3000-$4000 in economy. The good thing is they are flexible and their aim is to get to Croatia, do a bit of island hopping and they are open to suggestion.

Today I haven't been feeling 100% so I tried to get whatever essential tasks done and whatever the team can handle so I can rest up.

Little pixie stayed by my side all day long to make sure I got the 💕 and care.

Whilst resting I couldn't help but to watch videos about travel to update what new products are coming out in the future so I can let our clients know and train the team.

I have to say there are so many exciting new products like new seats, inflight entertainment, amenities kit, internet and so on that I cannot wait to see in person 👀

This was our last night in Tokyo from our latest trip and we had such a FUN time with our new friend Mayuko who I did her cooking class a few years back. 😁

Mayuko took us to a local restaurant which there was literally no tourist so we told her that she should do a food tour but she thought no one would be interested 🥱

Then she put some itinerary together and I sent a few clients to do her food tour which turned out to be a big hit ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🔥🔥

She is super bubbly, friendly and her English is super awesome.

Last week I did 2 days intense cruise training with 25 different companies and got to learn heaps c🛳️🚢

There will also be ship inspections coming up in a few months which I'm going to be checking them out so super excited about that 😄

Little pixie just went to the vet as she has ulcer in her eyelids so she's been feeling really down, can't really open her eyes properly and super needy which honestly break my heart cus it's so hard to work knowing that my little baby is in pain 😭

The good thing is that both Scott and I work from home so we can be here with her 24 7.

Happy Monday 🙃

Everyone travels for different reasons e.g. leisure, work, culture, adventure etc and I'm sure we can all agree that trying yummy food should also be part of your trips so that's why we try to add restaurants recommendation to clients whenever they have to jet off.

There are places that I have visited that certain food would really stuck in my head cus they were bloody yummy.

On our recent trip, in Hanoi we had cháo which was congee Viet style with fried bread stick. Japan the seafood bowl was super fresh and in NYC, we had the best Mac N Cheese in my life at Wholefood Market similar to our Woolies.

2 years ago I used to work long hours and weekends as I wanted to grow my travel business but that resulted of me hating my job, myself and everything. I knew that if I kept going the same way then I would have gone down the rabbit hole but luckily I forced myself to never work after hours or weekends anymore to have work life balance so WEEEKENDS are for me to just chill and get my energy back. Both Scott and I don't really need to do something extravaganza as we simply enjoy our down time by taking little pixie out for brunch and a nice walk or cooking something yummy. Last weekend we just ate at our fav Thai restaurant Yok Yor, had some drinks in Darling Habour and walked around. Now we are both ready for this week ahead and there are so much to do!!!!! Here's a little about my life in the travel industry: Starting in 2008 I was a Consultant at STA Travel, kicking off my career in travel. From there, I was promoted to Assistant Manager and then Branch Manager, building up my experience in Australia. In 2014, I was offered the opportunity to develop and train my own team in Bangkok, Thailand. For 14 months I reported directly to the MD, hired a team of 10+ travel consultants, acquired two Corporate Accounts (British Council & TTI Global) and learned the difference between Thai & Australian business cultures. Fun fact: after working my way up, I demoted myself because I'd rather help clients than manage staff. Discovered my true calling early! Why am I working for myself now? Through the experience, I realised what I love and quite simply - I love helping people organise their travel. Whether it's a holiday, a business trip, conferences, events or group bookings. I think that when you are helping someone organising their holiday, it should be done with love and care. Sounds corny but treat people like how you want to be treated and everything will fall into place. I have helped all types of clients with their travel from students to couples to groups of besties, through to luxe, business travel and corporate trips so I understand everyone has different needs. Travel industry is all about knowledge, fast & reliable customer services and honesty which is how I operate my business. My turnaround time is normally within 2 hours and I'm available most time if I'm not sleeping.
