BeThatTeacher - Joseph Collinson
Joseph Collinson, a Kungarakan man and teacher living and working on Larrakia Country knows how significant the representation of First Nations peoples and cultures within a school can be.
âIn our school, I am the only Indigenous staff member. Being able to be that role model, leader, that students look up to⊠itâs something I am very proud ofâ.

Just Reinvest New South Wales
We recently teamed up with Just Reinvest NSW to produce video content to inform people about the work they're currently doing in partnership with several Aboriginal communities in New South Wales.
Justice reinvestment is a way of working that is led by the community, informed by data, and builds strategies to address issues at a local level. The aim is to redirect funding away from prisons and into communities that have high rates of contact with the criminal justice system.
Thanks to all those who participated and welcomed us into their communities. Visit www.justreinvest.org.au to learn more about their work.
