▫️Fixing rock fall using ground anchors and shotcrete in Cremorne.
▫️Not all retaining walls need to look pretty, they just need to be functional- these are our favourite❗️
This shotcrete wall was created 80cm thick to re-support the house foundations above which were undermined by rock fall caused by heavy rains.
The wall was anchored back to the cliff to prevent future instability.

Anything less is a gamble that may or may not pay off.

🟡 Geotech, structural and hydraulic engineers all came together to design this wall as part of a Council emergency works order.
RWC executed on the old wall removal and new construction.

🔸 Completed block retaining wall at St Paul’s College, Manly.
🔸 This wall had an emphasis on blocking and diverting ground water (of which there was plenty). Retaining walls can be a great tool to help control water flow and drainage 💦

▪️Besser block retaining wall replacement at St Paul’s College Manly is well underway with demolition of the old wall complete, and new footings already poured, and ready for blocks after Christmas 🎄
