Northern Beaches Council Bin Guide -

1. General Waste Bin (Red Lid): The red-lidded bin is used for general household waste that cannot be recycled or composted. It includes items such as non-recyclable plastics, food scraps, diapers, ceramics, and other non-hazardous waste.

2. Recycling Bin (Yellow Lid): The yellow-lidded bin is designated for recyclable materials. You can place items such as aluminum cans, steel cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles, and containers labeled 1-7 for recycling. Remember to rinse containers and remove any non-recyclable parts before placing them in the recycling bin.

3. Paper and Cardboard Bin (Blue Lid): The blue-lidded bin is specifically for paper and cardboard recycling. You can dispose of newspapers, magazines, office paper, cardboard boxes, and other paper-based materials in this bin.

4. Vegetation Bin (Green Lid): The green-lidded bin is used for garden waste and vegetation. This includes grass clippings, leaves, small branches, prunings, and other garden-related organic waste.

5. Bulky good collection - Don’t forget that on the Northern Beaches, residents are entitled to two 3 cubic metre on-call bulky good collections per annum, free of charge. This is for items such as furniture, mattresses and bed bases, whitegoods and more. Note that hazardous items, heavy objects and building waste are unacceptable.

You will be working outdoors with a young and energetic team. This is your chance to be part of our fast growing business on the peninsular.

Full-time job: 40 hours per week
Part-time job: ~20 hours per week

Must be a team player, have good communication skills and an energetic personality.

You do not need prior experience or any qualifications, just an Australian Drivers License.
Applicants must be able to commit to role for a minimum of 9 Months.

Rates of pay are negotiable: $25-$35 per hour (plus super)
