Utopia of the Seas is now the latest ship in the Caribbean fleet.

To follow up on the announcements earlier last week, bookings on Pacific Explorer cruises departing before 2nd March 2025 will be unimpacted, along with cruises on Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter departing before 14th March 2025.

Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter will be taken out of service for 2 weeks in March to undergo some technology and systems upgrades.

As for bookings on Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter cruises departing after 25th March 2025, these will be unimpacted other than that the ships will be renamed, marketed and operated as Carnival.

Post-integration, the Carnival Cruise Line year-round fleet in Australia will include Carnival Splendor, Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, as well as Carnival Luminosa which will sail from Brisbane seasonally. All the ships will feature Carnival's popular HubApp onboard technology to enhance the cruise experience, and P&O Australia guests will be invited to participate in the Carnival loyalty program, among other benefits.

Breaking news from Carnival Cruise Line Australia:
Cruise Weekly have reported: END OF AN ERA AS P&O CRUISES AUSTRALIA BRAND TO BE RETIRED
Carnival Corp to absorb and sunset 90-year-old P&O Cruises Australia brand.
Carnival Corporation will retire the 90-year-old P&O Cruises Australia brand in a major strategic shakeup revealed today.

Effective from Mar 2025, all P&O Cruises Australia operations will be folded into Carnival Cruise Line, effectively doubling the brand's presence in Australia.

Pacific Encounter and Pacific Adventure will be rebranded as Carnival Cruise Line ships, with Pacific Explorer to exit the fleet.

Both ships will operate alongside Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa, with no changes forecasted for either of the two existing Carnival Cruise Line ships.

The move does not impact P&O Cruises UK in any way, the company said.

Impacted guests will be notified in the coming days of any changes to future bookings.

Inspiration 4 Travel has had a fantastic trip in the Northern Territory the past 9 days. I will update you with whats been happening when I get home.

The weather has been fantastic, with blue skies every day. A little cool the first couple of days but I don't mind that at all.

My son has been the main driver while I have navigated and worked out what to see and do.

We’re on Day 5 of the cruise already! It’s gone so fast and I’ve been a little unwell and very tired.
Celebrity Edge is an amazing and beautiful ship. The crew are fabulous!
It was pouring rain when we arrived at the terminal. We had a person with our group that had a wheely walker so we got moved to the front of the line. They got everyone into the building and out of the rain ☔️.
We were on the ship by 11:30 and enjoyed a special lunch for those in Concierge class cabins.
