Ardrossan is only a 3 minute drive from Unwind at Tiddy Widdy and it now has new chairs. They face the memorial that overlooks the water and the jetty. A nice place to sit and reflect.

The new fish cleaning shelter and sink was put to good use this weekend with our guests cleaning and preparing their big catch of squid. Then it was cooked in the outdoor kitchen ready to be enjoyed. Thanks for the photos.

The newest things at Unwind at Tiddy Widdy. A shiny new fence, a fully functioning, updated stove and the undercover fish cleaning area with plumbed in water. Hoping our guests enjoy our upgrades. Again special thanks to all the helpers.

Over the weekend Chris and I "researched" some local attractions for our future guests. We thought we better visit Sunny Hill Distillery. It is a lovely spot, they do tastings, you can just buy a glass, they have other drinks as well, grazing platters and hold music days and events. Well worth a visit.

Our front fence now has a wooden topper, great for cheese platters and drinks while you sit and look at the sea view. The trays, boards, cheese knives and glasses are all here. Just bring the cheeses, snacks and drinks.

Our latest guests at Tiddy Widdy were Amanda and Ryan with their lovely family. The little one loved the sandpit, toys and old swing (looks like someone else also enjoyed the swing). Thankyou for choosing our little shack.

A sneak peek at what our new front fence will look like. A big improvement on the current one. Also we have a house sign featuring our logo. Visitors won't miss which house it is.

We have decided to makeover the side fence along the driveway. Today the tin came off, of the short section only, the posts and rails were painted (in between dodging the rain) and new shiny tin attached. Now we match the neighbours.

There's plenty of meal choices in Ardrossan but Chinese takeaway has been the winner tonight. We highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Chicken and the Omelettes.

Well he did get excited when he saw me packing the car and realised he got to come. He's had a run around the yard in the sun but comfy now having a rest.

Meet Bluey. Bluey is a 2 year old Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog. Bluey sadly lost his owner 3 months ago and was lucky enough to find Sarah and Nick as his new family. This weekend was his first holiday with his new family and his first trip to the beach. Looks like he enjoyed it.
