Australia's cruise ship ban will officially end on 17 April, the federal government has confirmed, after the news was foreshadowed by Minister for Tourism Dan Tehan yesterday.
A joint press release issued by Tehan, alongside the Minister for Health and Minister for Home Affairs, confirmed international cruise ships will be able to arrive at Australian ports from next month.
P&O Cruises Australia's first sailing will depart 31 May, 25 months since the government first banned international cruise ship arrivals in Mar 2020.

We believe happiness means hanging out with those close to us often, living simply, getting out in nature and just plain having more fun than Donald Trump with unlimited access to Twitter!
Issue 3: We have obsessive compulsive tendencies. We live and breathe travel and have an insatiable need to strongly encourage others to partake in our addiction (see issue number 1).
