Out in the countryside one evening, wrapped in my warmest clothes and huddled against the cold around a bonfire, I found myself watching a lady totally engrossed in what she was doing. After a while, the piece of timber she was diligently working on started to take shape, into a somewhat wonky looking spoon. She was utterly absorbed and content.
Working with our hands, being out in nature, or stepping away from the screen. These are things many of us do less and less frequently.

Nature can have a hugely positive impact on reducing stress and anxiety, and make us more energised and alert.
A pot plant is a great start, but why not give yourself that opportunity to get out of the house, find a beautiful spot, and breathe.
