Owners Adam and Michelle relocated an original Queens Park home 30 plus years ago to raise their family on the acreage they named Kiambram meaning “dense forest”. Visitors admired the relaxing view and protected aspect. Still residing on the property they offer former family home and new cabins for couples weekend getaways, families and groups. The ongoing native vegetation restoration program brings a lot of birds and wallabies close to the cabins. Contained farm animals can be seen as well. We are sorry these don't mix with pets and have a strict NO PETS policy.

Be entertained by these little cuties 🥰

Our prolific resident small bird the Superb Fairy Wren (Malurus cyaneus) are easy to spot flitting around feeding on the ground and low bushes surrounding the accommodation site. Our ecosystem provides for multiple social groups each led by a blue male as snapped here by Rob de Little at the aptly named "Wrens Garden" cabin.

If birding is your thing see how you can book a professional bird guide, Mick Atzeni - Birding Guide when staying with us. Link in Bio.

At Kiambram Country Cottages, our guests experience eco Farmstay B&B accommodation choosing from three studio cabins or a renovated homestead, all self-contained and set amongst beautiful Mountain Coolibah vine scrub flora with elevated views, resident wildlife, skies full of colour and stars.

Sometimes nature is most simply enjoyed by just sitting in it!

We are extremely grateful for supportive community interest groups offering assistance with understanding and recording scientific details about our little patch of nature. A recent visit by the Toowoomba Field Naturalists has inspired us to progress with our plant labelling program.

Check out a little about these plants on Kiambram website Nature Page. Link in Bio.

She reminded us of how flat the Netherlands terrain is when admiring our elevated views from the sunset lookout. What do you take for granted about our beautiful country?
