A Valentines Day stroll to the Sunflowers 🌻 💝 ?

Sadly they are not ready for the long weekend but we will be open for pick your own from 10am-6pm on the following days.

No need to book, just come and pay entry at the farm gate. $15 adult, $5 children

Pick as many as you can carry. And we have a limited number of secateurs here for you to use.

Dainty little sweet fruits on now.

Moving along with our native plant recording and labelling program, we are capturing flowers and fruit as they happen.

If you are visiting soon check out tags 655 and 658 on the high fence just north of the solar shed. Climbing saltbush fruits are falling and slender grapes are forming.

This old boy occasionally works!

GT has a relaxed life in retirement but does enjoy a ride out to muster cattle. He is well travelled but these days enjoys welcoming travellers to his paddock. Ask us where he is if you can't find him in the long grass. GT (Docs Gold Top) likes carrots , bread and a chat.

Hot summer colours but the weather up here is actually quite pleasant right now.

After all the beautiful greening rain the rest of January weekends are looking fine and 18 to 31 degrees so perfect weather to sleep in and visit some high country attractions. A cool breeze brings the "feels like" temp back a few degrees too.

A freshenup for Christmas.

Daisies have resprung after the rain, a few other snippets of colour not on wallaby menu and a fresh layer of mulch should see Wrens Garden's paisley patch done for a while. Rubus probus, the native raspberry is flowering and hoping for some nice crops in 2025.

We haven't done a shout out for Coolibah Cabin in a while.

With it's timber tones, cane furniture and bush path through Mountain Coolibah vine scrub, it's your home away from home when you'd rather glamp than camp. All mod cons for a comfy weekend provided.

Solar is on and landscaping nearly there.

Mr Kiambram's junk steel supplies have created a little wallaby free native fruit garden fence (to be painted). Saved rocks have tidied up the wall ends, including a native lemongrass patch. Native couch grass has responded well to the rain and mowing. Looking forward to sharing our repurposed fit out in the new year. Maybe see you then? Direct booking link in bio.

Can't find this golden carpeting flower on our plant list (Link in bio) but will give it a go as Leptorhynchos squamatus (Scaly buttons) on INaturalist and see what the experts come back with.
