Hello all you wonderful people!!!

Small update today, honestly still trying to figure out how to do 3 people's work as one person haha

If you want to hear me talking about our beautiful region and some of the wonderful things we have to offer, jump on to ABC radio at around 5:30 and tune into the Drive Radio broadcast. I'll be sharing a little bit of info about our fantastic region.

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all having amazing weather where you are and that the stars shining beautifully. As you can see the weather here has been anything but, on the bright side the playground is ready for action!!! Come on up when the weather is better and give it a go.

Sorry for all of the gaps in my posts, I would love to be on here more often. Since the birth of my first child six months ago and my business partner heading off to do exciting new things, I have been a bit of a one man army.

I hope to be on here more often so that I can engage with all of you amazing people more. Thank you all so much for the support and for sharing our wonderful region with me.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well and that you have nice clear skies over Easter.

I just want to do a quick thank you post for the Getaway Tourist Park for helping share our wonderful night sky. It's a beautiful place to stay while in the region and a perfect spot to see the universe around us.

Thanks again to the new owners and best of luck for all of the future plans, I look forward to seeing how you make our area better.

The first 2 weeks of April see the moon go through its final phase to a new moon on April 9th.
This is the ideal time to spend a night at our dark sky Getaway Tourist Park and experience the Coonabarabran Stargazing experience held nightly in our Park (weather permitting)

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well and your skies are clear of clouds.

Back again with another update on our brand new playground!! All of the equipment is in and ready to go, we are just finishing off the last couple of pieces and then in goes the soft fall material. Once that's all finished it will be open to all visitors!!

Keep an eye out for the next video of me being childish and testing out some of the equipment for you.

I look forward to seeing everyone out on the mountain.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update today, hopefully tomorrow will be the proper unveiling of the finished product.

Here is a sneak peek of the construction of Siding Spring Observatory's brand new playground!!!

As I mentioned above I should have more details by tue end of tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled for the exciting announcement. Accompanying the announcement will be a drone video of footage from across Siding Spring, just to get everyone extra excited.

I am adding a sneak peek of the construction work being done on our brand new playground!!! There will be more updates in the coming week as the construction progresses, keep your eyes peeled for the official opening announcement.

I'm incredibly excited to see the site growing and changing and I look forward to sharing more of the journey with everyone.

Hello everyone, I hope your days are treating you all well and that the heat isn't too bad wherever you are. This is the first of hopefully a long line of different sneak peek videos that I will be doing for Siding Spring Observatory. As we go along the quality will get better but I am currently doing these on my phone with no tech wizardry. Let me know if you like this sort of content and I will make sure to do more. Let's all make Siding spring Observatory and this wonderful region the best it can possibly be. I would turn screen rotate off for this video, I only just noticed that the video likes to spin.

It been a wild year of ups and downs. Thankfully I will have some more time to be active here and reply to the amazing people that have come to visit Siding Spring Observatory and view our wonderful universe, thank you to everyone for the amazing support so far. There has been so much going on that I forgot to post this, thanks again to the team at Drive for taking the time to visit the region and for sharing a couple of the amazing things we have to offer. Check it out for the highlights of Coonabarabran, the Warrumbungles and for the interview in the dome of Australia's Largest Telescope. There is also an interview out at Dark Sky Emu Lodge and some info about what to do in the local area. Check it out for one of the best ways to see our beautiful region.

We haven't posted in a while because we have been flat out with making Siding Spring Observatory the best it can possibly be. Big updates about tours, menus and events will be coming soon. Siding Springs is now serving an award winning blend from Essential Coffee. Pop in for a wonderful cup of coffee, enjoy a piece of cake or slice and take a wander through our amazing exploratory. The Cafe opens from 8:30am-4pm everyday except Tuesdays.

We've been waiting to share the details until it was all finalised. We are happy to announce that we will be opening the Cafe and Exploratory at 8:30am tomorrow. We will be open 6 days, with tours running each day. Come along for a tour and see the inside of the amazing AAT dome, Australia's largest telescope. For the more adventurous and nature bound, there is also the amazing David Allen Trail tour. We look forward to seeing all of the happy faces and sharing this fantastic site with everyone.
