We loved this location for our Saturday night dinner. It had a really fun vibe with a DJ , the rooftop bar overlooked Brisbane city.

We pre-booked well in advance our booth for 10 people & we did the banquet for $60 per person. The food was delicious!

We would definitely recommend this restaurant/bar when you are in Brisbane but you MUST pre-book in advance.

My daughter Lucy Kucks secretly planned a girls weekend in Brisbane city, then drove the miles from Springsure central QLD to be there especially. I so appreciate her love and kindness to do this for me. I only found out what was happening for the weekend late last week.

The weekend was organised by Kirstyn Bliss of Blissful Getaways
First off, arrived at our room. Stayed at Crystalbrook Vincent, a 5 star luxury hotel at Howard Smith wharves overlooking Brisbane river and short walk along the river walk to Queen Street mall. The whole area along the wharves is high-class and buzzing with atmosphere.

After settling in Friday afternoon it was time to meet the rest of our group. So let's start with some cocktails as we got to know one another. Dinner and wine at Same Same Thai restaurant- how yummy. The flavours in the different foods were divine. More drinks with great company followed.

I was spoilt with a pampering foot spa and pedicure while sipping champagne Saturday morning. It's cute noticing our group wearing open-toe shoes displaying our professionally lacquered toenails!!!

Time for a spot of shopping and then enjoyed the afternoon and evening with cocktails and dined out at Maya Mexican rooftop restaurant on Brisbane River. Dropped into another bar for a nightcap before heading back to our hotel. Another night of people, places and experiences.

A lovely morning stroll along the river followed by brunch & shop along James St & a few Cocktails before meeting the rest of the Blissful Getaway guests for pre dinner drinks.

One of the things I’m really looking forward to on the Blissful Getaways Brisbane weekend is dinner at Same Same Restaurant. We are having the banquet for our group booking & it makes my mouth water every time I look at it!

Think Southeast Asian cooking, in a beautiful setting , with an elegant take on street-inspired Thai 😋
