Labourer
Employment Term: Casual 5 days per week (Generally 6-7am start – 8-10 hr days)
(Ability to become permanent for the right applicant)
Award – Building and Construction General onsite award

• To assist in the performance of tasks related to construction of renewable and civil projects.
• To develop personal growth skills within the workplace guidelines, which will enable you to enhance your skillset.
• To be a responsible, reliable, proactive, and most importantly a productive team member of our work force.
Job Locations:
Our jobsites vary across Victoria and interstate. The right applicant must be willing to travel and be away from home during work periods.
Accommodation is supplied for away periods – the accommodation will be one person to their own bedroom.
Living away from home allowance (LAFHA) paid for away periods for each evening requiring accommodation.
Role Requirements:
Labourers are expected to perform a variety of tasks; therefore, it is beneficial to possess a range of qualifications to show your flexibility to tackle any task you are assigned in a safe manner. The required qualifications are;
• Driver’s License
• White Card / Construction Induction Card.
• COVID 19 Vaccine as per the CHO directions.
In addition to this, some of the below attributes and skills are also important to the Labour role;
• First Aid / CPR Training.
• Plant and Machinery certifications.
• Strong initiative and willingness to work hard.
• Reliable.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Good level of fitness.
Responsibilities:
• Driving to / from jobsite (when required).
• Work cooperatively within a team to produce daily results in line with the project targets.
• Assist in completion of daily construction report as requested.
• Maintain inventory of all tools and equipment used on the job daily.
• Participate as part of the site team keeping management informed of the progress and problems that arise during building projects.
• Attend evaluation meetings and provide observations of participant’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Attend all meetings & training as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Complete documentation daily including equipment pre starts, incident reports and other required documentation through the company’s digital platform.
