Sneak peek into our on-site museum, with lots of interesting pieces from history! The museum is open for guests to enjoy during their stay.

When you stay at The Settlers Cottage, make sure you look through our antique stereoscope! These are the original 3D glasses, which were popular between the 1850s and 1930s - so ours are likely over 100 years old! We never get tired of the beautiful area that is Kangaroo Valley. The valley is rumoured to be one of only seven fully enclosed valleys in the world, and you definitely feel a sense of calm the moment you arrive. We’re looking forward to seeing you at our cottages as soon as travel is allowed!

An original pair of original 3D goggles, complete with a view of a bridge over the Hawkesbury River. When you look through these goggles (kept in the Settlers Cottage), the view magically comes to life in 3D! They’re just a little different from modern-day versions, that’s for sure! #nostalgia
