This week, a few of the Clean Cruising team had the pleasure of attending the TAFE Recruit, Retrain, Retain Industry Day at Southbank TAFE. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with this year’s students, discuss potential placements within our business, and support the next generation of travel professionals.
One of our directors Jean, was honoured to speak on the Industry Panel, where they explored current trends, challenges, and the evolving skillsets needed in today’s travel industry.
Engaging with TAFE and fostering new talent is something we’re truly passionate about. Excited to see what the future holds for these aspiring professionals!

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) convened in Sydney on Saturday for the cruise industry's ‘night of nights’ – the 2025 CLIA Awards. We're incredibly proud to share that our very own Sam Renvoye, who made it down on the last flight out of Maroochydore before the airports were shut down, was named 2024 Cruise Consultant of the Year for Australia! This is a fantastic achievement, & we couldn’t be prouder of Sam’s dedication & passion for cruising.
Clean Cruising was also honored as a Finalist for Online Agency of the Year. We want to extend a huge thank you to our amazing customers for your continued trust in us to plan your unforgettable cruise holidays, as well as to our cruise line partners for their invaluable support.

🌟 Important Update from Our Team 🌟

Today, our team is fully operational, both remotely from home and in our office in Brisbane’s CBD. We want to take a moment to let our valued clients know that our thoughts are with those impacted by the recent cyclone. We're thinking of you during this challenging time.

We were sorry to hear that some departures were cancelled over the weekend including what would have been P&O's last ever cruise from Brisbane aboard Pacific Encounter. In better news we’re happy to share that the Port of Brisbane is now open. Carnival Luminosa departed yesterday evening and Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas will be departing today, though slightly delayed.

Please know we are here and ready to assist however we can. Stay safe💙
