Well today we said Hooroo to the last group of 2023 from Travel at 60 Australia.
This delightful group of people chose to visit Gladstone 1770 LARC! Tours and Heron Island.
Arriving on the Queenslander train last Friday they left on the tilt train this morning, and what a week!
Check it out! I didn’t make it to Heron so we might ask them to post some photos on here!

Travel at 60 Australia guests once again have a different adventure with bush fires, closed rail, Daz to the rescue at midnight then voom out to industry at Queensland Energy Resources then onto Tannum Sands Hotel Motel for lunch then out to the brand new Gladstone Area Water Board Aquaculture facility!

On the 18th of November we will be running a full day tour out to the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail. We have room for 14 bikes and up to 20 passengers (not everyone wants to ride a bike as we can walk to the first 3 tunnels and return to the bus) Tickets are available through the link below.

Hard to believe that 12 months ago we took out this award and by the look of some of this years nominees, with Events now included, we have some very big competition!
So good to see that our regions events shine so bright with our locals!!
It drives over night stays and visitor expenditure, all of which is great for our community!
