Undoubtedly one of our favourite photos from our years travelling around Ireland
There's a little hill outside the Post Office in Eyeries - even calling it a hill is a bit of a stretch but it's enough to get you up a little bit higher than the surrounding buildings. Park up, walk to the top of the little grassy patch and take in this fantastic view that greets you as you look across the rooftops of the most colourful place in Ireland
A trip around the Beara Peninsula is a feast for the senses before you even reach Eyeries. Coming from Kenmare, the journey along the north-western coast of the peninsula sees you pass some of the best scenery in Ireland. There's the coastal scenery of Kenmare Bay, the incredible mountain landscapes around Gleninchaquin Park and you even have tonnes of Irish history to delve into with stone circles and ancient monuments seemingly around every corner
Having passed through the village of Ardgroom, the road then descends down to Eyeries and you're greeted with a burst of colour that would brighten any day” ❤️

✨ Easing of Restrictions Update ✨

The Government has today agreed that the following restrictions will be eased over the Summer months.

📅 2nd June:
▪ Hotels, Guesthouses, B&Bs and self-catering accommodation can re-open

📅 7th June:
▪ Indoor visits from 1 other household are allowed (from unvaccinated households)
▪ Outdoor service at pubs and restaurants can resume
▪ Gyms, Swimming Pools & Leisure Centres can re-open
▪ Retro Drive-in Movies, Cinemas & Theatres can re-open
▪ Adult Sports Games can resume
▪ Up to 100 people can attend outdoor events (up to 200 at a 5k+ ground)
▪ Up to 25 people can attend a Wedding Reception
▪ In-person Driver Theory Tests can resume

📅 5th July:
▪ Indoor visitors from up to 3 other households are allowed
▪ Indoor Team Sports can resume
▪ Indoor Workout/Dance/Training Classes can resume in pods of 6
▪ Indoor service at pubs and restaurants can resume
▪ Indoor events can take place with up to 50 people (up to 100 people in larger indoor venues)
▪ 200 people can attend outdoor events (up to 500 at a 5k+ ground)
▪ Up to 50 people can attend a Wedding Reception

📅 19th July:
▪ Non-Essential International Travel can resume (Mandatory Hotel Quarantine will still be in place for those outside the EU or USA without a Vaccine Cert or a Negative PCR Test)

📅 Throughout June & July:
▪ A number of small and large trial music, entertainment and sporting events will be held:

- Thursday 10th June - Outdoor music event - Iveagh Gardens (500 people)
- Friday 11th June - Leinster vs Dragons - RDS (1,200 people)
- Friday 11th June - Shamrock Rovers vs Finn Harps - Tallaght Stadium (1,000 people)
- Friday 11th June - Cork City vs Cabinteely - Turners Cross (600 people)
- Sunday 20th June - Camogie National League Finals - Croke Park (3,000 people)
- Wednesday 23rd June - Indoor Opera - UL Concert Hall (519 people)
- Friday 25th June - Shamrock Rovers vs Drogheda - Tallaght Stadium (1,000 people)
- Saturday 26th June - Athletics Ireland National Championships - Morton Stadium (400 people)
- Saturday 26th June - Fully seated outdoor music festival - Phoenix Park (3,500 people)
- Saturday 26th June - Indoor music performance - INEC Club Kerry (200 people)
- 1st-4th July - Irish Open Golf - Mount Juliet
- 2nd July - Shamrock Rovers vs Dundalk - Tallaght Stadium
- 3rd July - Ireland vs Japan (rugby) - Aviva Stadium
- 3rd July - Cork vs Limerick (hurling) - Thurles
- 4th July - Roscommon vs Galway (GAA) - Hyde Park
- 10th July - Ireland vs USA (rugby) - Aviva Stadium
- More to be announced nationwide (along with capacities for July events)

▪ Up to 5,000 people can attend events at outdoor venues (capped at 1/4 of the venue's capacity)
