For over 100 years, The Prom has been a holiday spot, loved and cherished. Darby Charlet was built in the 1920’s, situated alongside Darby River (as the name may suggest!)
Darby Chalet sadly burnt down in 1949, but its memory is preserved well at the Foster & District Historical Museum, through images and volunteers. The supplied images are from the historical museum - if you are venturing down to South Gippsland/Prom Coast, definitely think about visiting!
