On the east coast of Southern Yorke Peninsula you’ll find the small seaside town of Wool Bay, situated between Stansbury and Coobowie. Once served as a port for the district's farms and 🧶🌾 pastoral runs for wool, grain and lime exporting. On the Coastal Way stop by the uniquely designed lime kilns, that can be seen on the cliff top overlooking Wool Bay Jetty. The town is named Wool Bay after the cutting in the cliff wide enough to roll a bale of wool down to the beach.

This achievement is part of the huge Australian Street Art Awards, and the winners will be announced early next month.

Have you visited and seen this colourful water tower in Edithburgh? 💦🦐🐟🐡💕

The Edithburgh Water Tower was created by Mike Makatron Art, Conrad Bizjak & Dylan Butler in March this year.

The artwork begins with a wide array of coral sourced from underwater photography
of the local jetty, as well as a Striped Pyjama Squid, a Cuttlefish and the magnificent Leafy Sea Dragon.

South Australian photographer Calli captured this great photo on a recent trip.

"It’s a beautiful part of the world. And hopefully the painted water towers bring travellers into this region.The community is so friendly and welcoming." ❤️
