The wild faces of women being raw and free. 🤩🦁🏄‍♀️

There’s something about surfing where you just cant help but express the feelings that you often bury below the surface – frustration, defeat, determination, and then pure delight and suddenly you’re squealing with joy! It’s a rollercoaster. 🤪

Navigating the challenges can be intense, so having supportive friends in the water who cheer you on when you’re doing great and also when you’re having a hard day is so important. You’re not expected to navigate the craziness of life and be a bad ass bitch solo. It takes the support of a tribe to grow a wild woman!

In surfing you learn so much about your limits (hint: theyre much further than you think), and the amazing reward of perseverance - just like hiking and other adventures – which is why we love them! When you finally ride that nice wave, its like the world goes silent and you’re gliding down a waterslide… until it ends 5 seconds later and you fall off into the crashing waves, ready for the long paddle back out again. 😝

Such is life!

Photo dump from our last sailing trip!
⛵️🏝️🧘‍♀️☀️

1. Checking out the views at Whitehaven. Did you know part of Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed here? It’s unreal!
2. The thrill of sailing! The boats that we spend the week on are actually some of the most famous Maxi sailing yachts ever, winning lots of major ocean races more than once! It’s sooo fun!
3. We got so lucky with the weather and it glassed out of for us so we could spend 2 days and nights at the Outer Reef! We snorkelled our hearts out and got the best sunrises and sunsets surrounded by water!
4. Between playtime, we hammock. 😜 It’s actually sooo nice to have moments with nothing planned and no reception so we can just relax and read a book.
5. Weeeeeeeee!!
6. Yoga with the best views!
7. Not many boats stay overnight at the reef so it’s pretty special and worth waking up early for the sunrise!
8. There are some really beautiful day hikes in the islands too! We’re almost to the top!

11. Making our sailor anklets and watching fish and dolphins jump all around the boat!

Part of the fun of sailing is that you plan your activities around the weather so every day is different and we plan as we go! We always do yoga, hike, and snorkel but we go to different islands and go where the wind takes us!

It was a wild few weeks but we did it! We completed the Annapurna Circuit trek in Nepal 🏔️ 💪 There were definitely moments we questioned our life choices (haha) but aren’t all good challenges that way! 😜 Here are just a few of our highlights in photos!

Did you hear?! We’ll be trekking to Everest Base Camp this October 12th-26th! Just imagine standing at the foot of the world’s tallest mountain and having that feeling of accomplishment, like you can do anything! It is a pretty amazing feeling😊 Yes, it’s definitely a challenge but the best kind. And it’s even better when you get to do it with an amazing group of women all cheering for each other when it gets tough and even when it’s not.

So, what’s it like trekking to Base Camp? You start off trekking through forest and next to a beautiful river, slowly gaining elevation, crossing swinging bridges, passing through cute and colourful villages, and climbing lotssss of stairs 🤪 As you get higher and higher the trees will begin to thin out, then it will be small shrubs and then just you and the mountains and probably some yaks. You will feel on top of the world…and well, you almost are!

Because who doesn’t want to wake up next to the beach, go surfing and then climb down a waterfall?! 🌿🏄‍♀️

If you love nature, adventure and a good time, you will LOVE Costa Rica! The countries mantra for basically everything is PURA VIDA which directly translates to pure life. It’s a way of life that celebrates the little things, is full of gratitude and encourages living life to the fullest!

Next on the adventure calander: Mt Kilimanjaro!! 🏔️🥾

It’s the highest singular free standing mountain ON EARTH (😲)!! With a beautiful rainforest around the base which slowly turns into snow and rock as you make your way to the summit. A new ‘wow’ around every corner.

There are many routes to the top, some are short and steep, others are longer with a more gradual ascent. So you can guess which one we picked 😆 The longer one! We aren’t here to race to the top, we want to enjoy every moment and take the scenic route. Which also helps massively in reducing the chances of getting altitude sickness thanks to acclimatisation. Double yay!

The lemosho route will take us 8 days, led by a local female mountain guide and assisted by porters who carry most of our gear so you only need to carry a day bag. Each night we will set up camp in cosy tents and share hot meals while we reflect on the adventures of the day.

The final 1000 meter push to the summit will really make you question why you ever booked this (and probably tell me you hate me - which is okay! 😆) but I promise you that when you make it to the top you will be so in awe of yourself and full of joy for what you’ve achieved. You’ll lift the bar of what you know you’re capable of, which trickles into many aspects of your life for years to come. Hellooo self love!

I’m almost certain our Wild Women group will be the most supportive and encouraging team on the mountain all year 😆 so if your a little nervous, you can count on us to be there next to you every single step.

Happy International Yoga Day!

Today and everyday. 🧘‍♀️✨
Yoga is not just a class we go to but a lifestyle. It’s a practice that brings us back to ourselves over and over again. It reminds us to be kind and gentle with ourselves and helps to quiet the noise and to keep us focused on what is real. It helps us to find that deep sense of peace.

It might look like just a physical practice, some breath work and meditation but ohh, it’s so much more.

If ya know ya know! And if you don’t…there are so many awesome studios out there!

And if you’d love a taste of yoga mixed in with an adventure we got you!! We do yoga on most of our trips and would love to have you join us 😊

16 days: 21st August - 5th September, 2024.

Come and experience the wild nature and unique culture of Tanzania! It is home to the Serengeti where the big 5 roam, the highest mountain of Africa Mt Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar island, a culturally diverse oasis full of delicious foods and pristine beaches.

We will be camping across the mainland, cooking together and travelling in our 4wd, untill we reach the coast and jump on a ferry to go to our beach bungalows in Zanzibar. This trip really shows you whole countryside of Tanzania as we pass through national parks, farming villages, mountains, beaches and the big city Dar Es Salaam.

We’re headed to North Stradbroke Island just off the coast of Brisbane for 5 days of salt, sun and SO MUCH FUN!

Don’t worry if you’ve never surfed before! We’ve already organised the best teachers on the island for you and you’ll be shredding in no time! And if you already know how to surf thats ok too! Grab your board and come join us!
