Forbes MTB Weekly Kids will boost your weekend warrior kid to become a more experienced Intermediate or Advanced rider by providing a immersive session to their week.

This program includes a wide range of skills training from the foundation points like cornering and posture to the more fine tuning points such as suspension tuning and drifting. The program also has Time Trials, Night Riding, Dual Slalom Racing, Obstacle Races, Photo Shoots and even car park tricks to take home. The parents receive a weekly email of what we get up to each session with the photos, results, skills learnt and updates on the racing scene.

This is the perfect program for a kids that are want to take it to the next level or simply need to fulfil their mountain bike passion.

🚨WARNING BE DB AWARE🚨 Renting mountain bikes in Australia? Make sure to be well prepared for what you may encounter when out on the trails. I always make sure my tourists of ForbesMTB Bike Hire (Like and Mike and Mari here from USA) are prepared with a spare tube, tire lever, pump, multi tool, hard copy trail map, helmet, gloves AND DB AWARENESS. I always make sure my clients are well informed of the dangers of DB. Hence why these boys look a little serious 1. Know that they are meat eaters, unlike their leaf eating cousins. 2. Don’t be fooled, they may look cute, but they will drop and they will attack. 3. If encountered with a DB, treat it like a fire, strange I know, but STOP, DROP AND ROLL will confuse the predator and will hopefully waddle off. Gap Creek is renowned for them, basically anyway tourists like to go. Make sure to inform your visiting friends and encourage to ask other Australians for advice, that’s always fun too.

Steph and Alex’s cruise ship stopped in at Brisbane for the day, whats the best way to spend it ? A guided E-Bike experience of course! I picked them up from the port, took them via the scenic route (Airport tunnel to legacy way tunnel) then we had a blast for 2 hours on the E-Bikes at Gap Creek then I dropped them in the city for the rest of the afternoon.

St Peters Mountain Bike Program. It’s been a pleasure to work with these guys. These lucky year 12ers who have elected ‘Sports and Recreation’ as a subject get to hit the trails once a week on the schools own mountain bikes. Only one of them had ever been to our amazing Mt Coot-tha but they have all taken to the trails extremely well. Stay tuned for more St Peter’s jumps, corners, trains, carpark tricks and more jumps !
