The Organ Pipes as pictured below are less than an hour north of Minnipa. Majestic, ancient and often all yours. A must visit!

It felt like discovering a lost city, with a 4WD journey through the Gawler Ranges leading to the breathtaking ‘Organ Pipes’. The hike up the canyon with bring you even closer to the stunning rock formations.

BREAKING NEWS: Minnipa Hotel will now be open on Saturdays from 11am & Sundays from 11am-2pm! Whilst we have had a couple of hiccups along the way, we are still endeavouring to increase our availability to the town and surrounds. Along with accommodation packages including a continental breakfast & option for a cooked breakfast. Exiting News: Sunday brings the launch of Minnipa Hotel's new resident food trailer! Open Saturdays, Sundays all day and Monday night, Chef Dave will be back on deck offering starter takeaway meals including Arancini Balls, Fish & Chips, Squid Chips, Calamari Schnitzels, Dino Nuggets, Spring Rolls, Salads & more! From next week he will be extending his offering to include Kebabs, Burgers & DONUTS!
Please come down to the Train Barracks & enjoy 1st day deals..we would love your feedback to keep our endeavour on track in making Minnipa more accessible, thank you & cheers!

PILDAPPA ROCK IS NOW OPEN!

Major works are now complete, and Pildappa Rock Recreation Reserve is now open to the public.

However some minor works are still being undertaken, so please be mindful of ongoing work in the area.

Please also note, the Picnic Shelter and BBQ facilities are currently unavailable, and camping is no longer permitted within the area.

Make sure you're following Pildappa Park Campground - a privately-owned campground that will soon open for camping adjacent to the rock.
