Do you need a border permit for your travel?
Re-Entry to Victoria Information - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is currently a government requirement that all travellers that leave and return to Victoria complete a re-entry form online. This will take approximately 5 mins to complete and returns an instant response. I would suggest doing this the day before you depart from your destination or earlier. Please visit https://www.service.vic.gov.au/services/border-permit/home and follow the prompts to complete the Victorian Travel Permit re entry form. Entry into Western Australia Information - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is currently a government requirement that any person entering Western Australia completes a G2Gpass form online. I would suggest doing this the day or so before you depart for WA. Please visit https://www.g2gpass.com.au/ and follow the prompts to complete the WA Travel Permit form. Entry into Northern Territory Information - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is currently a government requirement that any person entering the Northern Territory is to complete an entry permit form online. I would suggest doing this the day or so before you depart for the NT. Please visit https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/travel/quarantine -border-entry-form and follow the prompts to complete the NT Travel Permit form. Entry into Queensland information - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, entry to Queensland is restricted by the Chief Health Officer for anyone who has been in a COVID-19 hotspot in the 14 days prior to entry. Entry into South Australia Information - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is currently a government requirement that any person entering South Australia completes a Cross Border form online. I would suggest doing this the day or so before you depart for SA. Please visit https://www.police.sa.gov.au/online-services/cross-border-travel-application and follow the prompts to complete the SA Travel Permit form. Entry into New South Wales information - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, rules and restrictions for entry to NSW apply when a concerns notice identifies interstate hotspots, affected areas and places of concern. A NSW Border Declaration Pass may be required for entry into NSW, please ensure you have checked the New South Wales government website before you travel for all current entry requirements / forms that may need to be completed prior to entry, https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/border-restrictions. Entry into Tasmania information - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, travellers to Tasmania, including returning residents, need to provide their contact and travel details before entering the State, to help manage the risk of COVID-19 at Tasmania’s borders. Tasmania’s border entry conditions depend on where each traveller has spent time prior to their day of arrival. Areas are assessed as either low, medium or high-risk based on Public Health advice. Please visit https://coronavirus.tas.gov.au/travellers-and-visitors/coming-to-tasmania to determine travel status and complete all relevent online forms. Entry into the ACT information - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are currently restrictions on entering the ACT depending on where you have travelled to/entering from.
