The Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch with some guests this morning ❤️ Despite many millions who enjoy the road every year, only a few actually realise (or come to learn) that it is actually a permanent memorial to those who died while fighting in World War I. The road was carved in rock and built by returned servicemen. It winds around the rugged southern coast and was a huge engineering feat ending decades of isolation for Lorne and other coastal communities.

On all our tours, kangaroo spotting is always included in the tour schedule.

Fun Fact about Kangaroos: You always see kangaroos hopping around because they can’t move their legs independently.

The structure of their legs actually renders them incapable of using them to walk.

Fortunately, it seems they really wouldn’t need to anyway, as they can hop at speeds of over 30 miles per hour!
