Happy to announce Yamaha Motor are again supporting us with our tours and coaching and we now have our 2024 model bikes including the all new WR450. It is hard to believe they can continue to make these things better! It is smoother and easier to ride than previous versions, which for me is great! So we now have 2 x 450 and 1 x WRF 250 2023 bikes up for sale, these were new in October so have low KM ! Message me for details but you will be happy if you are in the market for a slightly use WRF! We also have 2 x Tenere 700’s for sale a 2023 with 1100km on it and a 2021 with 5000k.

Merry Christmas and let’s hope 2024 is a cracker, the dry hot weather predicted certainly did not eventuate, it has been good for riding but not great for holiday makers. thankfully we have not had floods or any damaging storms like some areas. I will have low KM 2023 WRF 250 and 450 available mid January if anyone is keen PM me, I have my late 2021 Tenere for sale October rego new tyres and 5000km service just done. It’s on FB marketplace or PM me for more info. Stay safe for the crazy season.

Big day yesterday and one to go today , the lads have been on it both at the bar and on the bike! I have some spots for a 3 day high country ride December 1, 2, 3 if you have a reliable trail bike and some riding experience and have ridden down there now is your chance to do it with Detour , we have been running small group fully supported rides since 1998.

Happy fathers day past and present customers! I hope you got out for a ride? We did, a 1 day bucks weekend ride yesterday with a full day of single track and a BBQ lunch would have worked up a good thirst for the lads! we are taking bookings for High Coutry 3 day rides in early December both Adv and trail bike on back to back weekends, let me know if you are keen?

Epic single track Saturday the mandatory hill, swamp and trail side gourmet lunch. I absolutely love my 23 WRF 250, thing is impressive in these conditions! Our food and accommodation at Captains Flat was top notch too! Had a few flats and broken bike which was an easy recovery for Lochy O and the mighty DMax. A big cold front came in overnight, see what today brings.

About time! The first Detour for 2023 and it should be a cracker, rain last week sunny skies and cool weather! This is anew ride location for us and I will post some video of the fun post event. I have my new 2023 WRF 250 all sticker rd up and ready to roll thanks to Motokit.

Day 3 complete, started with a good frost and finished with good trails, a few laps of Heffos MX track and gourmet lunch at D2R HQ before heading for home. Lads will sleep well after 3 days of riding.
