Winter in Hanoi has a completely different vibe. Everything becomes slower and more romantic. A contributing factor to this atmosphere is daisies.

Visitors can see daisies on any street or alley. The white flowers with small fragile petals and yellow pistils are arranged and formed in bunches, creating a pure white color.

Daytime is the time when the daisies bloom and are most beautiful, the pure white petals like spokes will bloom around the bright yellow pistil in the middle. When sunset falls, these petals also droop and wither sadly, lonely. But the next day, when the sun rises, the daisies will bloom again and welcome the morning sun.

If you want to take a picture with daisy garden, don't hesitate to contact us for a trip to Hanoi this winter!

Come to the mountainous area of Vietnam during winter, you can easily see people gather around fire stoves in stilt houses.

The fire stove is not only a place to cook and keep warm but also a place for old people to tell stories, a place for young people to learn life stories, a place to connect with neighbors and friends, a place to gather for songs, make love relationships, and start a couple's love.

The culture of keeping the fire stoves in the house created many distinguished activities. One of them is drying the meat for preservation.

Wild animals' meat is cut into pieces, marinated with a little salt, and then hung above the stove. Over a period of time, the heat radiates to the meat, which is covered with a layer of soot, so it has a natural deep brown color, keeping the sweetness, and smells delicious.

If guests come to the house, they will sit by the fire, chat, and enjoy wild meat in the kitchen with some wine.

Sapa is a famous place to visit in Vietnam. But did you know, Sapa changes its appearance every season? Every season of Sapa has different landscapes and a distinguished look you can never find elsewhere.

But if you are a person who loves to explore, you should choose to go to this land on winter days. In winter, the whole town of Sa Pa seems to be floating in clouds, mist, and snow. Snow falls white, covering all creatures, and houses, even up to half a meter thick, covering the landscape with a white space that makes the scene both bleak and surprisingly beautiful.

There are no more green or golden terraced fields in the harvest season, no more fruit trees or wildflowers. All covered in snow with magical beauty. At this time of the year, you will have a chance to see ethnic people dance on fire and try their specialty foods grilled on charcoal.

In November, the yellowish tree marigold (wild sunflower) will fill the air of Tay Nguyen. The steep red dirt roads in this season are covered with beautiful and brilliant flowers that can fascinate anyone who visits.

Tree Marigold is symbolic of intense vitality and faithful love. This flower is associated with the tragic love story between the man K'lang and the beautiful H'limh.

Once upon a time, in a certain village, there was a boy named K'Lang who fell in love with H'Limh. They are aiming for that burning dream by the red fire every night, dancing and singing with the villagers in the village.

But then at that time, a severe drought happened, and everything withered. The young man decided to go find a source of water to save the villagers. He said goodbye to his lover and then headed towards the misty mountains that covered the Paradise range, hoping that the place with the fog would be where there was water.

How many moon seasons have passed, the girl went to sit on the bank of a dry stream waiting for the news of her lover, but in response, only the howling of the great thousand was heard.

Until one day, Miss HLimh waited until evening but still did not see K'Lang's figure back. She decided to leave the village to find a lover. She went day and night through many streams and mountains... but her lover was still absent. The bitter cold season when it was winter on the highlands, making H'Limh more cold and lonely and desperate... She was exhausted when she reached the Paradise range.

Where the girl lay down grew strange plants, blooming golden flowers. Later people called it Tree Marigold. Tree Marigold represents the will to overcome all circumstances, the intense vitality, and the faithful love... of the people of the highlands.

Visiting Ha Long, a must-see sightseeing is "Hòn Trống Mái"

"Hòn Trống Mái" is located near Dinh Huong island in the southwest of Ha Long Bay, about 5 km from Bai Chay tourist port. The name of this island is given by the locals based on the shape of two rocky islands.

People believe that at the time of the founding of the country, after the mother dragon and baby dragon came down to help the Vietnamese people fight foreign invaders, they stayed in the lower world. After waiting until the dragons returned, the Jade Emperor sent a pair of roosters down to wake up the dragons. But Ngoc Hoang sent the wrong pair of Rooster and Hen. Seeing here the charming scenery, they are so absorbed in their love that they forget the task, so they are petrified.

For people in Tay Nguyen, singing is part of the culture and became an everyday lifestyle. Every night, people gather around the fire camp and sing along with each other.

In these occasions, T'rưng is a must-have musical instrument. Made of dried peeled logs or single-ended bamboo tubes, cut to different lengths to create the desired vocal range, T'rưng has a distinguished appearance. People will play by tapping the horn percussion on the tubes to create a melody.

According to the elders in ethnic groups, T'rưng was created with the purpose of warding off birds, animals, mice in the fields, and evil spirits. They believe that for every tube of the instrument, there is a god residing, the gods will help people ward off evil.

This wine is made from rice, cassava roots, ripe bananas, jackfruit, millet, corn... The yeast is made from galangal tubers, and chili peppers, with some roots and leaves of forest trees, both elementary and very sophisticated. It is called "rượu cần" because the ethnic people will use a special tool called "cần", which is made of bamboo to drink it. This is a favorite activity of farmers in the villages of Vietnam. According to Vietnamese custom, if you want to win, you have to defeat your opponent by "smearing on the white belly" or "falling off the white horse" or lifting the opponent up.

In the old days, wrestling used to be the way to choose soldiers from villages. Nowadays, wrestling is not only a beautiful tradition but also a way to bond people. Every spring, when the village festival occurs, when the blizzard drums start to play, all young males in the village gather to participate in the wrestling competition.

You might have seen pictures of beautiful terraces nestled in the valleys and mountain slopes of Vietnam.

A terraced field has many levels in series and each level is a small field. The more levels there are, the more farming techniques the owner has. This is one of the traditional farming methods of Vietnam.

The history of terraced fields is associated with the history of residence of ethnic groups in Vietnam’s northern mountains. Their main food source is wet rice, so they decided to utilize desert land for cultivating wet rice.

During the harvest time in October, the gold rice field stands out of green forests, creating a magnificent picture in Vietnam’s northern part along with many seasonal festivals of ethnic people.
