If you are travelling through Brisbane Airports Domestic terminal between 1 and 3pm, you might come across some very good boys and girls 🐕 to provide furry support to nervous flyers.

The trial initiative features Cooper the Labradoodle, Kevin the Sheepadoodle and four puppies in training from Therapy & Support Animals Australia.

The dogs have already created some wonderful moments in the terminal, comforting a family who lost someone special and a FIFO worker who hasn't patted his own pup in a month.

"Petting a therapy animal releases endorphins, making people feel better, diminishing feelings of pain, depression and loneliness" Nikki, one of the trainers at Therapy & Support Animals Australia said.

I think the folks at
can not only confirm that the trial is a success, but they should easily increase the hours that Therapy Animals are available throughout the day.
