If Japan isn't on your bucket list it should be. We spent a wonderful 3 weeks between Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka & Tokyo Bay. Everyday was go...go...go but one of the best countries we have ever visited.

Another family trip done & dusted.
Bali for Christmas & New Years.
We stayed in a 5 bedroom private villa in Seminyak with another family.
The villa was amazing- 2 large pools & plenty of room for both families. The staff were amazing.
During the first 7 days we did breakfast with the Orangutans & tubing in Ubud.
Day at Finns splash park
We hired nanny's a few times for adult only time. Highly recommended. Need recommendations please let me know & I also have a great driver that I use myself & for clients.
Getting around was hard during the Christmas period mainly due to locals Indonesia's travelling so the traffic was insane. If you are travelling over this period I highly recommend staying somewhere that is walking distance to restaurants keeping in mind the humidity.
Next stop was Hard Rock for 5 nights.
So mamy activities for the kids, its an amazing resort. We upgraded to include the rock royalty package which gave us access to a quiet pool, afternoon tea, cocktails & afternoon tea. We had a pool access room which isn't a traditional pool access, it just meant ground floor, little hiccup with our room so we moved after night 1. Cabana at Hard Rock are an additional charge & can be pre booked which I highly recommend. I pre-booked Cabana 8 which gave us a great view of most of the pool.
One thing I will say is the compulsory NYE package wasn't great. Seemed to be a lack of communication but we did have a great night. Fireworks go off every few minutes.
Waterbom- I had pre-booked a cabana in the new section which was worth it when the kids needed a break.
We were so lucky with the weather, it only rained 3 times & not for long. The humidity was high but the kids handled it well.
