1500x+ Grain Harvest workers needed in SA, VIC

Each year we recruit around 1500 people to join us for the harvest season. We operate a storage and handling network where growers deliver grain into one of our 55 sites, which we store and move to international and domestic markets on their behalf.

A harvest job with Viterra is ideal for those looking to explore regional South Australia (SA) or fund their travels. With the majority of our sites are located in regional SA, you can spend your free time traveling around and making the most of the beautiful local areas with a huge range of experiences on offer – all while making earning money!

Most of our harvest jobs are available from approximately October 2023 to January 2024, subject to site location and harvest. There are opportunities to stay on further into the year, or to move sites and ‘travel with the harvest’. Training may be provided before October, depending on your role, start date and location.

Airseeder & Tractor Operators needed in NSW

Employer is seeking farm machinery operators for planting of the winter cropping program as well as the cotton harvest in NSW across a number of farms and contracting crews across the eastern states.

Pre-seeding work will vary from farm to farm, and could include machinery servicing and pre-seeding maintenance, various tractor operations such as tramline renovating, spreading, fertilising, spraying and earthworks etc.

Seeding will require operating tractors with 40ft - 60ft, and in some case 80ft planters and air seeders. Other roles might include operating trailed rock pickers, front end loaders, chaser bins and trucks for filling the seeders etc.

Cotton Harvest requires operators for John Deere cotton pickers and st*****rs, and loader operators for collecting and moving cotton bales.

Perks:
On farm accommodation is provided at all farms, meals also provided, and great hourly wages. Positions available on both east and west coast. Typical days are 12+ hours.
