The Coolum Coastal Boardwalk as captured by @hike_australia 🌊 🌿 An absolutely stunning 700 metre return walk along a suspended timber walkway above the Point Perry Foreshore Reserve. The boardwalk connects the Coolum village to Wilkinson Park at Point Perry and is part of the greater Coastal Pathway.

Mount Coolum is a short but steep 2km hike that can be completed in less than an hour from the bottom to the top, and back down again. The path to the top is easy to follow, and is now predominately pathed with rocky steps. Take care if there’s been any wet weather though, as it can get quite slippery on the rocks. Once at the top, you will get panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast that are worth every uphill step. To find the Mount Coolum Boardwalk put 8 Breezeway St, Mount Coolum into your maps app. Once you have parked walk towards the shrubbery and you will find a beach shower at the start of the trail. Now follow the boardwalk for about 5 minutes all the way to the beach.
