Happy story πŸ₯° Kate & Matt messaged us on Instagram last week asking if it was safe to come to Halls Gap.

"We are SO happy we made contact with the locals at Halls Gap to know we would be safe and they would LOVE to have us come and support their community."

"We are SO pleased we came, there's still so much to explore! If you’re tossing up whether to go to the Grampians or not, you should most certainly go!"

"Driving into Halls Gap was very surreal seeing the force of these fires, but there was hope as we continued on with new sprouts spreading far and wide through the bush. It’s incredible to see nature begin to recover so quickly."

Here's some of what this gorgeous family did over their 4 days at Halls Gap:

πŸ’š Venus Baths - magic place for the family and only a short walk

πŸ’š We continued on from Venus Baths to complete Chatauqua Peak which was quite a rock scramble

πŸ’š The Pinnacle and Grand Canyon walk - this was magic 4.2km, it just got better and better

πŸ’š Day 4 we rested the bodies at Lake Bellfield and we got to share the lake with a couple of Emus which was such a treat

From us at Discover Northern Grampians and Halls Gap, thank you Kate, Matt & family for visiting and sharing your experience to encourage other people to come back. We are open and it's safe πŸ₯°
