Did you know! Ridgehill currently grows and harvests 3 varieties of Mandarins and 6 varieties of Oranges over 80.72 hectares of Orchards! 🍊

Ridgehill asks that this Citrus season, we all do our part to ensure the Riverland remains a Fruit Fly Freezone!
How can you help?
It's easy!
▪️ Maintain your home garden! Remember to clean up and dispose of any old or fallen fruit or vegetables
▪️ Check your Fruit! Do you know how to identify Fruit Fly infestation? Look for maggots and blemishes on the skin where the female fruit fly could lay eggs

Travelling to the Riverland this Easter Weekend? 🚗

Please remember - the Riverland is classed as a Fruit Fly Free Zone! Which means unfortunately you are unable to bring any fruit or vegetables with you.

Your vehicle may be checked and searched at quarantine stations and random road blocks as you enter the Pest Free Area.

If you are found to be carrying Fruit or Vegetables, you will be fined $405 (on the spot) 🍊

There are also QLD Fruit Fly Outbreaks within the Riverland Area which have now created restricted zones.
