This morning Scenic Eclipse II sailed into Sydney Harbour, after completing the inaugural Pacific Ocean crossing. This is the first Scenic ship to sail into Australia, where the company was founded 38 years ago. ​

Scenic Group Chairman and Founder, Glen Moroney, said “as an Australian-founded company, we are proud to set the global benchmark for ultra-luxury yacht cruising. We look forward to welcoming Scenic Eclipse II in Newcastle and the many ports along the East Coast and Top End of Australia. The ship will then continue the journey across the Oceania region for the 2024 to 2026 seasons.”​

Scenic Eclipse II is now docked at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay and will move to White Bay Terminal on Saturday evening. The ship is scheduled to depart from Sydney at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon and will arrive in Newcastle from 6.30am on Monday, 22 April.

Venice, Italy - Entry fee
The city of Venice (Italy) has introduced a charge for day-visitors who visit the island between the hours of 8am and 4pm. The charge is €5 per person, per day, and is payable online in advance.

Please note that this only applies to day visitors. Passengers staying overnight are exempt, as they are charged the existing city tax upon checkout instead. Overnight visitors are therefore advised to register for an exemption online https://cda.ve.it/en/ before arrival.
