To all Greek island cycling holiday fans, it is with great regret that we need to inform you all that due to the worldwide COVID flu pandemic and ever changing rules and restrictions imposed by bureaucrats, it is impossible for us to organise a Giro tou Rhodes event for 2022 until further notice.

In the meantime, please stay safe, fit, healthy and strong because when the time comes, you’ll need to be ready for the best party ever!

Unfortunately the global Coronavirus pandemic has impacted travel and social behaviour to cause the GtR2020 to be postponed.😭😢
All participants have been fully refunded and are hopeful to return for 2021.
In March we updated our website to advise we were taking enquiries for Custom Group Bookings until September, however, due to continued uncertainty, we have deferred all events until 2021.
This has made us even more determined to create the best ever holiday event, and we will be bringing more options and focus to Custom Group Bookings so you can enjoy a tailor-made holiday with your peloton, friends and family.
We wish for everyone to stay safe and healthy and look forward to getting back to living it up and appreciating every minute of the great times ahead.

COVID-19 is an unprecedented event. Your health and that of your family and friends is the most important thing to keep in mind. Accordingly, we have given all participants the right to cancel their attendance to this years event in June with a no obligation FULL REFUND.
There are currently no reported or suspected cases of the virus on the island of Rhodes. In all of Greece, there are 418 cases and 5 fatalities, and the authorities have placed restrictions on schools, public spaces, bars, restaurants, accommodation and travel to help stem the spread of the virus.
This is an ever-changing situation which is being monitored closely. Final determinations about the running of this years event will be made by no later than 15th April.

Proud moment alert!
Back in September I welcomed trevor ward and Patrick Lundon to the island to do a big ride feature for Cyclist magazine and I'm glad to say it has been featured in the December edition!
When I started Active Rhodes I always knew that the cycling on the island could rival a lot of the other popular European destinations but just needed some exposure. Hopefully this can be a launchpad for attracting more cyclists to the island. Go and grab a copy now as the words from Trevor and pictures from Patrick are 👌.. here's a teaser!
