I love Noosa and it's one of those places I could return to over and over.
What's not to love? Great restaurants, bars, I'm not much of a shopper but for those that do love a little retail therapy there are plenty of stores to keep you occupied. It's a wellness and nature destination and Noosa National Park is perfect to walk through at the end of the day.
You could easily spend a week in Noosa but I would encourage you to include a trip to the Hinterland as well.
From the land and sea, farm gates and farmers markets, cooking schools and craft breweries, wineries and waterfront restaurants, the Sunshine Coast and its Hinterland hills serve up a smorgasbord of delicious local produce.
Start with the hinterland to begin your foodie adventure and check into Spicers Clovelly Estate for a few nights, it's an easy 40 minute drive from Maroochydore airport. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and native rainforests, Spicers Clovelly Estate has a reputation for exceptional gourmet food. Dine at the property’s hatted restaurant The Long Apron and discover the region’s fabulous fresh produce.
Passionate foodies should try a private culinary tour where you will meet talented local food producers and sample the wonderful local produce.
Travel to the coast for some sun & sand with a stay in Noosa. Surf, swim, kayak across the sea, or visit one of many local markets that showcase regional organic produce and artisanal fare.
There are some great accommodation options located on the vibrant Hastings Street. Depending on your taste and budget I can recommend the perfect option for you. However a couple of my favourites include the absolute beachfront apartments at Seahaven Noosa Resort and Tingirana Noosa. There are also some incredible private homes on offer.
For me it's all about the ocean and there is something special about being right on the beach. Although Main Beach draws the most crowds there are a handful of other beaches definitely worth your time including Sunshine Beach, the peaceful Tea Tree Bay in the heart of Noosa National Park, and the idyllic Peregian Beach.
Noosa is considered a ‘foodie’ Mecca and takes its food seriously! Using only the very best, often award winning local produce sourced from the surrounding hinterland, Pacific Ocean and the Noosa River, it’s no coincidence that Noosa’s dining scene is one of the most popular in Australia.
Some of my favourites include Bistro C, Season Restaurant, Kaali Gourmet Indian, Miss Money Penny for sundowners serving creative cocktails and modern Mediterranean, Noosa Beach House located in the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. You can't beat Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club for great drinks, food and fantastic view. The best people watching has to be at Aromas Restaurant and Bar and for the best fish taco in town Xalapa. I could go on for days about the great food in Noosa I'd love to hear your recommendations.
You will always receive the same rate as booking the hotel directly along with exclusive offers and some little extras.
If you are planning to travel in Australia I would love to take care of you.
