Why wouldn't you stop to take in the surroundings. Its not everyday you see a crystal clear body of water at over 4000m above sea level. Mother Nature's ice baths are incredible in colour, with a striking contrast of a backdrop. Oh take me back....

Horsepower vs Horsepower I know which way I'd bet when it comes to river crossings. I can tell you the mechanical kind lost this time around, but he did survive Mongolia and lives on after the extraordinary journey across the globe. What a story that bike could tell.
Need an escape that challenges you but also invigorates your mind and soul?? Mongolia will do that in more ways than one. Best time to travel is between May and September.
Or... you could always procrastinate about it for another year.

Did you know that India has its own version of the 'GREAT WALL'.
Built in the 15th Century this fortress lies in the Aravalli Ranges, spanning about 38kms, and is the second longest continuous wall built on the planet.
This is only one of the highlights of our Rajasthan adventure.
Best time to travel to this historically rich land is between the months of September and March. This exciting adventure, takes you on an exotic journey of Temples, Shrines, Haveli's and Palaces where Maharajas and Maharani's once ruled.

That one time we took the side car to Spiti Valley. No one was silly enough to ride in it of course. Hell even the dog refused a ride, but it did serve well for holding spares. I remember we had a breakdown on one of the nights, the side car wasn't coping with the 4wd terrain, and before we knew it, darkness had hit us. Luckily we had a couple of head torches handy as well as the other motorcycle headlights , we MacGyvered the crap out of the bike, and limped our way to a small Dhaba, literally only a tarp for a roof, over some brick walls in the middle of nowhere. Aaahhh good times. You don't get memories like that sitting on the couch.

The Himalayan National Park is an amazingly tranquil place. The isolated roads of the mountain ranges, just exquisite scenery that words just can not describe. Nestled in the valley a quaint little village where the sounds of nature just mesmerise you. This is what freedom is all about!

Team Nepal is currently experiencing Kathmandu before departing on their journey to Annapurna in days to come, so I decided to get some fresh air myself and head out for quick 400km round trip coffee catchup. Was definitely what I needed, the ride was pleasant, even when it did rain. Good practice for our upcoming adventure through the European Alps in June.
