We were lucky to have excellent trades involved with electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, concreting, earth moving and many more. Just a fantastic team put together by Gary Rogers.

HAPPY MONDAY - Lets have some h**p education today! Here's an article from scientist David Suzuki :
"H**p fibre has numerous advantages over other materials, including cotton. It can also be used to make packaging and building materials that are more environmentally friendly than petroleum-based plastics and other materials, and it can be converted to fuel.
Many of h**p’s advantages are in how it grows — a reason it’s often called “weed.” It’s fast-growing and doesn’t require a lot of water or space, and has properties that can reduce the need for chemical herbicides and pesticides. Its deep root systems store carbon from the atmosphere, prevent erosion and replenish soil nutrients after harvesting. It can also be used for cover crop as it can remediate contaminated soils and prevent weeds, nematodes and harmful fungi.
Cotton uses about 50 per cent more water than h**p to grow, and about four times as much when processing is included. H**p can also produce about twice as much fibre per hectare as cotton. According to a study by researchers in Bangladesh, “H**p fiber cultivation requires about 77.63 percent less cost in fertilization, seeds, field operation, and irrigation costs than cotton, the most recognized natural fiber.”
"Overall, whether it’s used for fabrics, bioplastics, fuels, paper products or building materials, h**p has many advantages and few disadvantages."

Indica H**p House recently achieved Sustainable Tourism Accreditation, which guides businesses to create high-quality, engaging and memorable visitor experiences that address the global demand for sustainable tourism.
"I gained a lot of knowledge and insights, which of course is necessary to implement new and improved practices and procedures. I do believe that the process of achieving accreditation has ensured that good business practices and procedures have been set up, which already has streamlined my processes, as well as increasing the quality of my service.
"I believe obtaining accreditation will be an advantage for my business as it shows my customers that high quality business practice, standards of service, and pursuit of excellence is important to my business. This will produce trust and confidence in the product and services my business offers. Accreditation sets my business apart and above my competitors in the market who have not pursued accreditation, and I am hoping this will gain more engagement and income as a result.
