Yesterday we received a Student visa (subclass 500) grant for an application lodged at the end of June 2024. The applicant is studying in VET sector.

This client has had a number of Student visas prior to this one, so this was really a 50-50 case considering the new rules surrounding Student visa applications. However, to our big surprise this Student visa was APPROVED! 😊

Partner visa DOUBLE grant received at 7.49pm today - yes, of course, we called the Client as how could we wait until the morning to tell someone that as of today they are AUSTRALIAN PERMANENT RESIDENTS! 🤩🥳

Partner visa processing has definitely slowed down compared to last year, when we received decisions within 1-2 months from lodgement. But hey, at least it did not take 23 months (being the estimated processing time at the moment).
