Our regular visitors include members of pony club and adult riding groups. You can bring your own horses or you can use ours. We have a number of horses that can be ridden if you don’t have a horse. Our facilities include an enclosed sand arena, excellent show jumping facilities and an inviting cross -country course set on 800 acres of Goulburn River flats, just over one hour north of Melbourne. G
uests will learn basic riding skills, preliminary jumping techniques and will also be involved in learning about the farm including some cattle work and maybe painting the odd jump rail! Summer camps include swimming in the dam and we regularly have BBQ and campfire lunches by the river. Please print off Appendix One form, fill it in and bring it with you to the camp if you are bringing your own horse. Guests will stay in the original farmhouse with the family. There are six bedrooms with bunks, offering separate accommodation for girls and boys. A wonderful menu includes include barbecues and roasts for dinner, sandwiches and "toasties" for lunch, eggs & bacon, cereal & toast for breakfast. And fruit and cake will be served for morning and afternoon tea. We have taught many people, we specialize in show jumping, starting from poles on the ground to riding a smooth round at Pony Club or EFA Shows. Guests get to see a real life working horse farm and get involved in the daily activities. WEEKEND RIDING
The year 2010 has a seen a strong demand for weekend riding with adults and children enjoying group lessons, private or even having a family group. It has been great fun and a sure way of improving steadily over the year. Some of the students catch the train from Southern Cross and I collect them at Tallarook. We gi...ve the children a morning and afternoon lesson and put them back on the train arriving Southern Cross at 5.30pm A great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday
MID-WEEK LESSONS HAVE STARTED
This year a group of adults have come riding one day a week and after the lesson enjoy a cup of coffee and lunch in the stunning gardens of the property. It's a terrific way to get the 'abs' working along with the satisfying result of remembering how good a rider we once were! Come and see the fun we have. PRICING
