After 91 wonderful years of sailing together, we’re about to embark on a new journey. 💙

Early next year, we will be farewelling our much-loved P&O Cruises Australia brand and joining our sister line, Carnival Cruise Line. 🌊🛳

It will be cruising as usual for P&O’s Pacific Adventure® and Pacific Encounter®, until March 2025 after which, both ships will be operated by our sister line Carnival. We will be farewelling Pacific Explorer®, at the beginning of March 2025.

But while our branding and ship names may change, you can expect the same great experiences, high service standards and the same incredible onboard team you already know and love!

On behalf of the entire P&O team, we thank you for your support and look forward to cruising into this new phase with you 💙

We would like to share some significant news for P&O Cruises that has been announced today. Early next year, we will be farewelling the much-loved P&O Cruises Australia brand and will rebrand to become part of Carnival Cruise Lines. This means that Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter will become Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter and join Carnival Splendor to remain based in Australia year round, with Carnival Luminosa joining us for the summer season.

Separately, Pacific Explorer will leave the fleet in February next year after many wonderful years with P&O Cruises.

Under Carnival Cruise Line operation you will continue to enjoy many of our most loved onboard experiences and itineraries, and it also means we will be able to offer the great benefits of Carnival Cruises including their wonderful loyalty program and their IT systems which will make for an improved pre-cruise and onboard experience.

We are all immensely proud of P&O Cruises Australia’s 90-year heritage of dedicated operations in the region and welcome this new and exciting next chapter of our operations in Australia and the Pacific. Today we answered a plea for help from a group of young Australian Rotary volunteers, Stranded in Vanuatu after the collapse of Air Vanuatu.

The 16 students and their chaperones will be sailing back to Australia in style onboard Pacific Adventure!
